Prime Video has released a thrilling trailer for its upcoming movie, The Bluff. The film features Priyanka Chopra Jonas as a former pirate who must defend her family from her old crew and their ruthless leader.
The trailer for the highly anticipated action film shows Ercell ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden suddenly attacked by pirates at her beach house while trying to protect her daughter. She quickly fights back with both intelligence and impressive combat skills.
Okay, so I’m playing as Ercell, and things are getting intense! I’m leading my kids through the forest, still fighting off these attackers. The trailer showed a glimpse of the final showdown – it looks like I’m going to have to take on Captain Connor, played by Karl Urban, and it’s going to be a huge battle!

Frank E. Flowers, who directed and co-wrote Bob Marley: One Love, brings us The Bluff, a story about Ercell. She believed she’d left her life as a pirate behind, but the arrival of Connor shatters her peaceful existence and forces her to face her troubled past.
Skilled with a sword, clever with traps, and driven by her love for others, she’s fighting a dangerous battle against Connor’s ruthless group.

In addition to Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Luke Urban, the film The Bluff features Safia Oakley-Green (known for Anemone), Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian), Ismael Cruz Cordova (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), David Field (Furiosa), Pacharo Mzembe (Sleeping Dogs), and Zack Morris from EastEnders.
The Bluff is set to premiere on 25 February on Prime Video.
