You only have six days left to watch the thriller Don’t Say a Word on Prime Video! The movie, starring Sean Bean, Brittany Murphy, and Michael Douglas, will be removed from the streaming service on March 14th.
The movie is based on Andrew Klavan’s 1991 novel and stars Rowan Bean as Patrick Koster, the ruthless leader of a jewelry-thieving gang. Koster kidnaps the young daughter of Dr. Nathan Conrad (played by Michael Douglas), a well-known psychiatrist.
The kidnapping is motivated by a need to reach Elisabeth Burrows (Murphy), a young woman with PTSD who is being treated in a sanatorium. She possesses crucial information, and Patrick is determined to get it from her.

The film, directed by Gary Fleder and written by Anthony Peckham and Patrick Smith Kelly, has consistently received positive feedback from audiences. Currently, it holds an average user rating of 6.3 out of 10 on IMDb, based on over 66,000 ratings.
One viewer described Don’t Say a Word as enjoyable despite being completely unbelievable. While the plot is far-fetched, they found the stylish and suspenseful thriller to be ‘gripping’ and fun.

Another viewer said they really enjoyed the movie, which was a pleasant surprise. They had expected it to be a bit corny based on the trailers, but found it surprisingly captivating.
Another viewer agreed, saying they were really impressed with how fast-paced and intense the movie was, even though the plot wasn’t perfect. They added that it was one of the most energetic movies they’d seen in a long time.

Viewers especially loved Britt Murphy’s performance, with one person calling her portrayal of Elisabeth “stellar.” They also praised the work of Michael Douglas and Famke Janssen. Murphy sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 32.
Rowan Bean is currently starring in a thriller, and he recently appeared in the MGM+ series Robin Hood. The show has been renewed for another season, and he’s expected to reprise his role as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
