Brendan Fraser, fresh off his Oscar win, is taking on another challenging role, this time as General Dwight D. Eisenhower in a new historical thriller. The film focuses on the tense hours before the D-Day invasion, and Fraser seems eager to continue taking on significant roles in dramatic films.
I just got a look at the trailer for Pressure, and it’s definitely piqued my interest. This historical thriller from Focus Features drops May 29th and takes us right into the heart of the 72 hours before D-Day – you know, the biggest naval invasion ever. The film centers on a really tough spot for Dwight D. Eisenhower, played by Sam Fraser, and Captain James Stagg (Andrew Scott) as they grapple with what seems like an impossible decision. I’ve included the trailer below so you can check it out for yourself!
More to come.
