Prequel for beloved and “epic” period drama unveils trailer for new era-spanning romance

A new trailer for the upcoming Outlander prequel has been unveiled.

This story, titled “Blood of My Blood,” unfolds in two distinct timeframes and primarily revolves around the parents of Outlander’s main characters, Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) and Claire Beauchamp (portrayed by Caitríona Balfe).

18th-century Scotland sees the blossoming romance between Ellen MacKenzie (played by Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (portrayed by Jamie Roy). Here’s an interesting twist: Brian is, in fact, the son of her father’s lifelong adversary.
