Wild Encounters and Raids

During the “Road to Unova” event in Pokémon GO, you’ll encounter Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott much more often. Their second stage evolutions, Servine, Pignite, and Dewott, will also show up, but less frequently. Notably, only the starters themselves can appear as shiny versions.

Then, the following Pokémon will feature in Raids including a daily Raid Hour:

  • Genesect (Monday, Feb. 24)
  • Coballion (Tuesday, Feb. 25)
  • Terrakion (Tuesday, Feb. 25)

In this scenario, all the featured Pokémon will learn their unique abilities. Furthermore, there’s a possibility of obtaining a Unique Backdrop for these Legendary Pokémon during the event. Pokémon appearing in both games can potentially have either backdrop, whereas Pokémon exclusive to Black or White can only secure the backdrop corresponding to the game they originated from.
