A famous actor, known for their work in television and film, was seen riding the subway in New York City this week.

The actress, expecting her first baby, wasn’t really noticed as she waited in the carriage.

The popular actress, known for her roles in shows like The White Lotus and Parks and Recreation, showed off a hint of her baby bump while wearing a short white T-shirt.

She completed her unique outfit with a beige coat, black shorts, knee-high white socks, and purple New Balance sneakers.

Though known for her famous acting work, this actress is now making headlines again after announcing she is expecting a baby.

It’s Aubrey Plaza!

The actress is pregnant with her first child, fathered by Christopher Abbott, 40. This comes over a year after the death of her husband, Jeff Baena, who tragically died by suicide.

Aubrey Plaza recently shared details about her pregnancy on the Smartless podcast, and shortly after, she was spotted trainspotting.

She announced to Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, ‘I’m pregnant!’ She repeated herself for emphasis, saying, ‘I’m pregnant right now.’

Today was a busy day for both my dog and me – we both had appointments at the doctor’s office. I already had a scan, and my dog is getting one right now. I’m being completely honest!

She first had an ultrasound, and then I did too. We discovered there’s a baby on the way, she shared.

With her usual playful wit, she quipped, ‘It’s already wearing a disguise of sorts – it has a little hood and hat! I think it’s ready to be born.’

Oh my gosh, they finally asked her about the baby! When they said ‘excited,’ she just lit up and said ‘I am!’ It was the sweetest! She’s always talked about wanting to be a mom, and she said she’s just always wanted to see what it’s all about. I’m seriously so happy for her, it’s like a dream come true!

Plaza and Abbott were photographed together last week, marking their first public appearance since announcing they are expecting a baby.

The pair was photographed enjoying the opening night celebration of the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman. The party was held at Katz’s Deli in New York City.

Prior to announcing their exciting baby update, they had kept their romance under wraps.

The pair previously collaborated in 2019 on the independent film Black Bear. They then worked together again on a stage revival of Danny And The Deep Blue Sea, which played from October 2023 to January 2024.

Baena’s body was discovered in January 2025 after he took his life at age 47.

According to an autopsy report obtained by DailyMail.com, Plaza and the screenwriter had been living apart since September 2024.

She was living in New York when he was found in Los Angeles on January 3.
