Pregnant Vick Hope Shockingly Confirms Baby News Live On Air Just Before Maternity Leave

In her chat with Jamie Laing on Monday, she mentioned that it would be her last week at work before she takes a break for maternity leave.

Jamie expressed: “You’re truly an exceptional friend, individual, and you’ll undoubtedly make a wonderful mother.” To this, she responded with gratitude: “Thank you so much.

Over the past few weeks, Vick has been observed flaunting an expanding belly, with the latest sighting occurring last Thursday as she made her way to the studio for her program.

Vick and Calvin, who are both 41 years old, have been the subject of growing speculations about them expecting their first baby. Now, they’ve made it official.

The buzz reached its peak when Vick posted a collection of images from a ‘baby shower themed’ vacation in the countryside, featuring intimate gatherings with friends, on Instagram.

Following numerous speculations and well-wishes online about her alleged pregnancy, accompanied by congratulatory messages from celebrity friends, Vick posted a series of social media updates during a sunny vacation with her closest companions. They were seen engaging in a baby shower activity known as “my water broke”, a playful game associated with such occasions.

She posted a photo showing six baby dolls spread out on a table in one picture, hinting at the well-known game for baby showers.

In this popular game, players try to retrieve a small toy from within an ice cube before anyone else, as the ice melts. The winner is the one who successfully extracts the toy and calls out “My ice has melted!” first.

In a different image, Vick smiled blissfully while savoring a tranquil alfresco sunset dinner with 11 of her cherished companions on the balcony.

During their sunny vacation in the countryside, the host and her companions took delight in a refreshing swim in the large outdoor pool as well.

In a playful post, the radio personality likewise uploaded an eye-catching picture of her husband, Calvin, posing with a rooster. Accompanying the photo, she captioned it: “Here’s Smoky King Cock”.

A few weeks ago, Vick disclosed some details about her marriage and published a collection of belly photos while she was seen in public wearing form-fitting clothes.

Supporters and famous friends have posted congratulatory messages about her baby announcement on their social media platforms, but she has not verified the news yet.

In September 2023, Vick got married to Calvin, and since then, she’s been sharing insights into their relationship. Recently, she spoke with The Standard about the type of date they both enjoy most.

She said: ‘Is it extremely @real_housewives_of_clapton to say a little London Fields picnic? 

‘Take a stroll along the canal and meander through Broadway Market, then find a spot on the lawn for two chilled cocktails served in cans.’

Vick posted multiple pictures on Instagram that showcased some of her latest accomplishments; a few of these photos, uploaded on a Wednesday, depicted her “growth” or “expansion”.

Lisa Snowdon said, “Warm congratulations, dear ones. I’m genuinely thrilled for you two,” whereas Laura Whitmore appeared to suggest something by writing, “She has that radiant look!

Elizabeth Day said: ‘Vick congratulations. You look RADIANT AF,’ and Dr Ranj added: ‘Congrats!!!!’

Other fan comments included: ‘Omg are we going to talk about you expecting! Huge congrats!’;

Celebrating your good news and Calvin’s! Exciting times are coming!” or “Thrilled to hear about your exciting news and Calvin’s!”

Regarding the second part,

In a recent BBC Radio 1 conversation with actress Florence Pugh, the host pointed out a noticeable bump while Florence was seated in a tight-fitting cream dress.

Near her fellow host Jamie Laing, Victoria tenderly ran her hand over her belly during the conversation, while she flaunted her beautiful engagement and wedding ring with a sense of pride.

The interview that was recorded hasn’t been shared on social media platforms such as Radio One’s Instagram page or those of Vick or Jamie.

However, it was posted to YouTube on Monday night.

Vick and Calvin previously sparked pregnancy rumours after the Grammy Awards back in 2024.

The speculation emerged following the presenter’s social media post of a picture taken at the awards ceremony, in which she could be seen casually touching her abdomen. This action sparked curiosity among fans, leading them to ponder if it might be a discreet indication of a pending pregnancy.

However, Radio 1 presenter Vick quickly put an end to the rumours on Instagram. 

She acknowledged a fan’s request to stop commenting on women’s bodies, explaining: ‘Indeed, I was simply resting my hand on my stomach! It might have been me adjusting my dress or dealing with my post-breakfast bloat, but thank you for your kind messages.’

Last year, Vick (Adam Richard Wiles) and Calvin marked their initial wedding anniversary, having exchanged vows at a grand, Glastonbury-themed wedding in Ibiza back in September 2023.

Following their wedding, the newlywed couple embarked on a luxurious honeymoon journey to Brindisi, Italy, traveling aboard a personalized £25 million aircraft for a romantic getaway.

Earlier on, Vick disclosed that her relationship with Calvin dates as far back as the mid-2000s.

Vick disclosed that, at age 19, she turned down Calvin’s romantic gestures when he was basking in the success of his popular song “Acceptable In The 80s” as a 24-year-old.

In an interview with You Magazine, she shared that a funny incident from our initial formal date remains something we continue to find amusing to this day.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must share this fascinating tale. While Calvin climbed the global ranks, amassing a staggering estimated fortune of £200million, little did Vick know that he was destined to transform into an Adonis.
