Pregnant Sophie Cachia reveals she’d like to have six children and is open to surrogacy as she prepares to welcome third child

The 33-year-old, who was once a partner of a professional athlete, publicly revealed on social media her surprising confession about considering surrogacy as an option for starting a family, expressing her willingness towards this path.
Sophia, now expecting her third baby, mentioned this point in her posts following the upload of a video where she initially talked about potentially having four kids closely spaced.
Responding to inquiries from her followers about the term “back-to-back babies” on Instagram, Sophie shared a photo of herself.
‘I didn’t realise that so many people didn’t know what [it meant],’ she said.
Additionally, many found it surprising that I desired four children, which left quite an impression on them.
As a committed devotee, I eagerly express my desire for the chance to tackle a series of tasks consecutively, simply to complete them. Next year, I will be 36 and welcoming another child who is currently eleven years old. However, due to the physical challenges I’m facing with my third pregnancy, I regretfully must defer my response on that matter until I have recovered more fully.
Later on, the style innovator candidly expressed her desire for a family of six, which she might consider expanding through the process of surrogacy.
She replied, “Laughing! If only I could, I would have six. However, I won’t be able to carry them all,” she stated in her direct message response.
Sophie changed her surname back to Shaw five years following her divorce from Jaryd Cachia, which has now been several years ago.
In her Instagram handle, she still uses her ex-spouse and child’s father’s last name. However, the name officially recognized on her account is her personal one.
In July, Sophie shocked her followers after confirming she is expecting a third child.
The declaration stirred speculation regarding her present romantic situation following her recent singleness, or if she might be expecting as a lone parent.
After parting ways with her AFL player husband Jaryd Cachia in 2019, the mummy blogger has been involved in a varied series of relationships with different women.
Sophie enjoyed a four-year marriage to Jaryd, 33, after they tied the knot in October 2015.
In the year prior, the couple had their first child, a son named Bobby. However, when Sophie delivered their daughter Florence in 2017, she started contemplating about her life and personal identity.
Sophie and Jaryd remained together up until September 2019, however, during their last year as a couple, Sophie, who now identifies as bisexual, began to delve into her sexual orientation.
During the final months of their marriage, Sophie, with her partner’s encouragement, embarked on a profound journey of self-exploration which she found incredibly enriching. Subsequently, she developed romantic relationships with other women.
In her 2022 memoir, titled “Then There Was Her,” she describes that a moment of inspiration struck her when she encountered an AFLW player approximately five weeks following the birth of her second child.
At their workplace, they first crossed paths when he was part of an AFL discussion panel, and she was present. This encounter sparked a romantic interest between them, which developed under the understanding and approval of Sophie’s spouse.
In my unwavering commitment to supporting my spouse as she embarked on her journey of self-discovery, I strived to be her pillar of strength. However, upon reading her memoirs, I found myself confronting a struggle – one that affected my self-worth during that transformative phase in our relationship.
In 2019, the pair formally parted ways, and Sophie began a new relationship the following year with Alanna Kennedy, a skilled soccer player who represents Australia’s national team, the Matildas.
Nevertheless, things didn’t work out for Sophie and Alanna. They parted ways in early 2020, only a few days after making their hidden relationship official.
At that moment, Sophie posted on Instagram expressing feelings of defeat, humiliation, and being shattered in her personal circumstances.
Although she didn’t explicitly talk about Alanna then or provide a detailed account of the events, she later admitted that she was going through feelings of betrayal and heartache.
In the subsequent year, Sophie found herself in a new relationship with WNBL star Maddie Garrick. It was in March 2022 that Sophie decided to propose to her athletic companion.
Sadly, the relationship didn’t survive its first year, as Sophie ended it abruptly eight months following the basketball player’s proposal.
The ex-Australian Survivor celebrity and entrepreneur disclosed an unexpected revelation on Instagram, subtly suggesting instances of broken confidence and deceit.
The separation occurred only a month into their long-distance relationship, as Maddie, aged 32, relocated to Florence, Italy, to join a local women’s basketball team there.
Approximately two months following their separation, Sophie started seeing AFLW player Sophie van de Heuvel, but it wasn’t until April 2023 that they made their relationship known to the public.
Sophie and Heuvel had been together for a year, but they decided to stop following each other on Instagram in January of this current year.
Since her breakup with Heuvel, the WAG has not been connected romantically with anyone else. However, whispers arose earlier this year suggesting she may be seeing another basketball player.
Sophie shared delightful photos of herself snuggled in bed with her two kids, as she revealed the exciting news she had been anticipating.
Sophie’s caption included ‘Mine’, a love heart symbol, and three child emojis, suggesting a possible solo journey of pregnancy.
