Sienna Miller is back on Instagram after an eight-year break, and she announced her return with a photo of her baby bump. She and her partner, Oli Green, are expecting their second child.

Oh my gosh, did you hear? She had a baby girl back in January with her partner! It’s just… perfect. And she already has the sweetest little girl, Marlowe, who’s thirteen! I can’t even handle how amazing this is – two beautiful daughters! I’m seriously obsessed with everything about this family.

In the photo, she proudly displayed her cozy, thick-knit sweater, which gently covered her baby bump, which was also partially hidden by a t-shirt underneath.

Sienna wore a cozy winter hat and playfully posed for a photo, sharing memes about her comeback to social media after a five-year hiatus – her last post was back in May 2017.

I saw the most interesting pairing online today – a picture of Michael Jordan’s famous 1995 retirement fax, you know, the one with just two words, right next to a meme of David Lynch, the filmmaker, shutting down a conversation! It really captured that feeling of saying ‘enough’ and moving on, and honestly, it was a pretty relatable combination.

Friends were thrilled to see her interacting with Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston’s former partner, and commented on how frequently she’s been posting lately, saying it’s ‘relentless’.

Poppy Delevingne commented with a playful ‘Boooooooooooooodles!’ and Laura Whitmore, who is expecting a baby, simply wrote ‘Relatable’.

This followed Sienna’s comment that relationships between older women and younger men are often seen as unusual or exotic, especially given her own relationship with Oli.

In an interview with Grazia, she remembered starting out as an actress and shared a story about auditioning for a role as the romantic partner of a 45-year-old actor when she was just 21 years old.

Sienna pointed out that while attitudes are changing, relationships where an older woman dates a younger man are still often seen as unusual or exciting rather than just normal. She hopes to see a time when these relationships are accepted without that extra layer of attention or judgment.

Sienna and Oli started dating in 2021. That same year, Oli appeared in the movie A Good Person with Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman, and also had a role in an episode of The Crown alongside Imelda Staunton and Dominic West. He is an actor himself.

The actress revealed she’s expecting a baby after showing off her growing belly at The Fashion Awards in December, and she also talked about the foods she’s been craving.

She mentioned she’s currently really enjoying foods with a vinegar taste, and has also been eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly toast.

Sienna lamented having to go through another round of postpartum hair loss.  

She said, playing with a strand of hair, that it was frustrating because her hair was finally starting to grow back normally, and now it would all fall out again.

Sienna plans to take some time off work this year to focus on her family, including her 13-year-old daughter, Marlowe, who she shares with her ex-partner, Tom Sturridge.

Sienna recently shared with Harper’s Bazaar that she didn’t think her relationship with Oli would become serious, but she quickly fell in love with him.

I didn’t intentionally seek out a younger boyfriend. My initial reaction was more frustration – I was annoyed that he was so young.

Men from his generation seem to treat women with more respect. While he’s a particularly thoughtful and balanced person, I think it’s also a characteristic of that generation as a whole.

Compared to previous generations, young people today have had more equal opportunities. I notice this in both the women and men I know.

I’ve always admired Sienna and Tom’s relationship, even after they split. They dated for four years, ending things back in 2015, but it’s so lovely to see they’ve remained close. Sienna has even called Tom her ‘best friend,’ and they’re doing a fantastic job co-parenting their daughter, Marlowe. It’s a really mature and heartwarming way to handle things, honestly.

Sienna Miller first gained recognition around 20 years ago with films like Layer Cake and Alfie, but she became less visible for a while. Now, in 2024, she’s experiencing a major career comeback and is back in the public eye.

Just five months after having a baby, she was a standout at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival while promoting her new film, Kevin Costner’s western, Horizon: An American Saga.

Despite the film receiving generally mixed reviews, Sienna’s performance stood out as a highlight, with critics particularly impressed by her captivating portrayal of Frances Kittredge.

People particularly praised her perfect American accent in the part, and Time magazine declared Sienna the highlight of the entire project.
