Pregnant Shaughna Phillips says she hopes jailed boyfriend Billy Webb is freed before birth of her second child – despite nine-year sentence
Shaughna Phillips expressed her hope that her partner, Billy Webb, who is currently incarcerated, will be freed from prison prior to the birth of their second child.
The popular Love Island contestant, aged 31, is anticipating the arrival of another child with Billy, who already has a one-year-old daughter named Lucia.
In April 2023, following the birth of Lucia, Billy, aged 29, received a nine-year prison sentence for confessing to his role in a plot to sell approximately 4.5 kilograms of cocaine valued at over £360,000.
Currently held in a Category D prison, he’s been allowed home visits for a few days each month.
Now, Shaughna announced that he might get an early discharge, which could mean him returning home before the baby is born.
She shared with New! magazine, “I’m aware of when he’s expected back home, yet I won’t disclose that information for now as unexpected events might occur. Fingers crossed, though, he’ll be completely home before my baby arrives.

The celebrity mentioned that she’s excited to have company during this experience, as Billy wasn’t present for the initial stages with Lucia – including tender moments like cuddling and restless nights.
Shaughna mentioned that he was certainly keen for another child, as he hadn’t had the newborn phase with Lucia, and it seems that’s what he truly desired.
Recently, the television figure shared details about her strategy for conceiving with Billy Webb following her announcement that she’s having her second baby.
Last month, Shaughna expressed that she conceived when her ovulation aligned with Billy being present at home for the first time.
‘It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,’ Shaughna said.
Initially, I thought, ‘Why not give it a try?’ The very next day, I told Billy, ‘I believe I might be pregnant.’
Over the last seven months, Shaughna and Billy have had fun spending quality time together during their family outings, as Billy has been granted temporary leave from his open prison.
According to an inside source, Billy has been in a Category D prison, allowing him to spend a good amount of time with Shaughna.

‘He even managed to be home over Christmas, which meant a lot to her and, of course, Lucia.
‘He hasn’t been released as many people thought, but he has a lot of privileges.’
At Category D penitentiaries, low-risk inmates enjoy reduced security measures, enabling them to step off the premises for employment, resettlement, or educational pursuits during daytime hours.
TopMob contacted Shaughna’s representatives for comment at the time.
Last month, Shaughna shared a video announcing her pregnancy by demonstrating a pregnancy test and highlighting her expanding belly.
Additionally, she posted a heartwarming clip featuring her two-year-old daughter, Lucia, donning a T-shirt that read “Big Sis” and “In My Big Sister Era,” as part of their exciting news reveal.
She added in a caption: ‘Adding a little more love to our family…’
Shaughna disclosed that the couple celebrated Christmas in December, as they got together following their family reunion, where they visited a Christmas-themed attraction together.

Posting a sweet video on Instagram, the reality TV personality disclosed that she and her companion had recently taken little Lucia to meet Santa Claus. She confessed that she had never imagined this particular day would arrive.
Last year, if someone had told me that I and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa for Christmas, I likely wouldn’t have been able to fully trust that scenario. (Or: A year ago, I wouldn’t have dared to think that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to visit Santa at Christmas.)
‘The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special.’
Shaughna has been transparent with her followers about the challenging experience she’s gone through, and she discussed her struggles in accepting the situation during her podcast called “Oh, Baby” (co-hosted by Shaughna and Holly).
She said: ‘It’s the most gut-wrenching position to be in.
Prior to addressing your query, I’d like to make a point clear: Feel free to form your judgement, yet kindly refrain from sharing it with me. I believe that without experiencing the same situation, it might be challenging for someone to offer a fair assessment.
Previously, if anyone had asked me whether I’d ever bring my child into a prison, given that I didn’t have a child before and wasn’t in this situation, my response would undeniably have been no. Such an action seems utterly irrational to me.
Then unexpectedly, here I am in this situation. However, it seems that we will forever share the role of parents.
Not only do I recall having an exceptional bond with my father, but in my eyes, he stands as the finest individual on this planet.
In my professional opinion as a lifestyle advisor, I firmly believe that Lucia should always view her father in a positive light. Under no circumstances would I ever advocate for limiting his access to see her.
