Pregnant Perrie Edwards shows off her blossoming baby bump as she hosts a listening party for her debut solo album ahead of its release

Perrie Edwards, who is expecting a baby, happily displayed her growing baby bump while celebrating the release of her first solo album with a listening party.

The 32-year-old singer and her fiancé, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, already have a four-year-old son named Axel.

She’s expecting a baby just as she’s about to release her first solo album and begin a fresh, exciting phase in her music career.

To celebrate the upcoming album release on Friday, the artist hosted a private listening party.

Perrie shared photos from the event on Instagram on Thursday, and fans noticed her stylish white jumpsuit. The outfit had a cut-out section that showed off her baby bump.

The star beamed as she posed next to a pal in front of a giant screen displaying her album cover. 

This happened after Perrie Edwards was embarrassed when her son pointed out she’d changed the lyrics to one of her own songs while singing it for him.

The singer has carved a successful solo career for herself since Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022.

Her biggest tracks to date include You Go Your Way, Tears and Forget About Us.

However, Axel quickly called her out, telling his mother: ‘That’s not the words!’

Perrie confirmed with a simple ‘yes’ when Axel suddenly swore, shocking her so much she fell to the floor laughing.

I loved seeing the reactions to the video! One comment really stood out to me: someone said Axel doesn’t hold back *at all* – a little guy with a lot of honest opinions. It perfectly captured the moment!

Someone else commented, ‘That’s really cute! It’s adorable how Axel keeps Perrie laughing and on her feet – kids always have a way of keeping things interesting!’

Someone commented that it was incredibly sweet to see a son gently correct his mother about the lyrics to a song, calling him a ‘little legend’ for doing so.

While a fourth commented: ‘Brutal call out, love it.’

Perrie is releasing new music soon, following the release of Jade’s first album as a solo artist – Jade was previously Perrie’s bandmate in Little Mix.

She recently showed off her baby bump after sharing the news that she’s expecting her second child earlier this month.

She and her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, announced their happy news with fans on social media.

She subtly promoted her new song, ‘If He Wanted To He Would,’ by displaying the lyrics on a T-shirt. She turned around to reveal the shirt and, at the same time, showed off her growing baby bump.

She’s celebrating some good news after previously sharing the heartbreaking experience of losing two babies before her son, Axel, was born.

She spoke about her experience on the recent episode of Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast.

Perrie revealed she experienced a miscarriage early in her first pregnancy. She found out after she began bleeding and went to see a doctor.

A year after welcoming her son Axel, a ‘rainbow baby’ born after a previous loss, she discovered she was pregnant again. Sadly, she later lost this baby at 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Speaking about her son, Perrie said: ‘Axel’s a rainbow baby.

I experienced a very early miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I still remember when I found out I was pregnant.

It wasn’t long before I started bleeding, so I went to the hospital for a scan. That’s when they told me I’d lost the baby.

I initially thought there must have been a mistake, perhaps a false result. I remember attending the appointments by myself, as no one else was with me.
