Pregnant Molly-Mae Hague faces furious backlash for flying to Paris in a private jet amid climate crisis: ‘Do you not care about your children’s future?’

Molly-Mae Hague, who is pregnant, received criticism online after posting photos from a recent trip she took on a private jet. Some followers accused her of harming the environment.

The 26-year-old Love Island star, known for her frequent and luxurious vacations – she took ten last year alone – recently took her three-year-old daughter, Bambi, on a trip to Disneyland Paris earlier this month.

Many fans were upset that Molly-Mae, who is pregnant with her second child with Tommy Fury, chose to fly privately instead of taking a commercial flight. They pointed out that private flights create more pollution and questioned whether she considered the environmental impact on her children’s future.

The influencer shared more photos from her trip to France on Instagram, showcasing a stylish outfit. She wore a fitted grey top that highlighted her baby bump, paired with a baseball cap and a large leather jacket.

Bambi shared a sweet moment with her mother, kissing her while walking around their cabin. Molly-Mae captioned the photos, expressing how she was cherishing their final moments together.

Many followers expressed anger and concern over the use of a private jet, questioning the impact on the planet’s future. Some commented that continued private jet travel would leave future generations with a severely damaged world, while others sarcastically praised the behavior, suggesting the user’s child would inherit a ruined planet.

Many people are questioning why someone would choose to travel by private jet, given the impact on the environment and the future generations they claim to care about. The criticism highlights the contradiction of posting about caring for the next generation while simultaneously contributing to environmental damage through excessive carbon emissions. It feels unfair to those who make everyday efforts to be eco-friendly, like recycling, when others are engaging in highly polluting activities like private jet travel.

Although only a tiny fraction of people own private jets – less than one percent – they significantly contribute to climate change, according to recent research.

Okay, so I’ve been following this for a while, and the numbers are just… staggering. Researchers just crunched the data, and private jets ALONE pumped out 15.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide last year – 2023! And get this, that’s a HUGE jump – almost 50% more than in 2019. It’s honestly terrifying to think about how much pollution just a tiny fraction of the population is responsible for. I’ve been trying to raise awareness, but it feels like nobody cares!

In 2023, the people who flew the most created an average of 2,400 tonnes of carbon emissions each – over 500 times the amount produced by the typical person.

Molly-Mae recently confessed she doesn’t enjoy cooking regularly, especially simple, everyday meals, just before she’s set to compete on Celebrity Bake Off.

She’ll be competing alongside JoJo Siwa and Scott Mills on a special charity edition of The Great Celebrity Bake Off, all to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

In a new interview, Molly-Mae opened up about her culinary habits.
