Pregnant Lala Kent supports pal Brittany Cartwright after she accused ex Jax Taylor of charity scam
After reading about Brittany’s recent weight loss and financial turnaround, it seems like she’s finally finding her footing after a tumultuous period. As someone who’s had my fair share of ups and downs, I can relate to the catharsis that comes with overcoming adversity. It’s heartening to see Brittany taking care of herself and focusing on her well-being, especially for her son.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I recently found myself delighted by the heartwarming reunion of former Vanderpump Rules comrades, Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright, right here in the bustling city of Los Angeles. On Monday, these two beaming beauties could be spotted planning a playdate for their precious offspring, exuding an infectious sense of joy that left me reminiscing about the good old days on the VPR set.
33-year-old reality celebrity, wearing a black tracksuit that accentuated her expanding belly, strolled with her three-year-old daughter Ocean in tow, traversing a parking area.
Lala, anticipating the birth of her second child through artificial insemination using a sperm donor, co-parents Ocean with her former partner, Randall Emmett.
Brittany, aged 35, exuded elegance while strolling with her three-year-old son Cruz, their shared child with her separated partner Jax Taylor, both sporting a stylish green mini dress.
The event takes place shortly afterwards, following Brittany’s public accusation towards Jax that he lied about charitable donations. Notably, this comes after rumors of a budding romance between Brittany and the Bachelorette star, Tanner Courtad, surfaced recently.
The events took a turn when Jax disclosed his new venture – the Cameo app, where supporters can purchase custom video greetings from their preferred celebrities.
Taylor mentioned that she can now be found on Cameo, inviting everyone to reach out to her. She shared her enthusiasm about assisting you all and pointed out that this collaboration benefits both parties since the funds she earns will go towards research for esophageal cancer, a cause close to her heart. In essence, she expressed her eagerness to exchange messages with you.
On Friday, Brittany reshared Jax’s video on her Instagram Stories, writing, “It just struck me that Jax has this feature on Cameo, but it’s appalling since he hasn’t contributed a penny yet.” She added a tag for @cameo in the post.
She swiftly deleted the post, but not before screenshots had already been captured.
After spending last week in an in-patient facility, Jax reportedly hasn’t left the Los Angeles area yet, and it’s said that he’s still in touch with Brittany and Cruz. A source shared this information with DailyMail.com.
According to an exclusive source, DailyMail.com learned that he is keeping in touch with Brittany and his child.
The source continued by stating that, as of now, we are uncertain about how long the ex-star of Vanderpump Rules will require hospitalization for treatment.
‘He is unsure how long he will be staying. It’ll be however long he needs,’ the source added.
It has been reported that Brittany prioritizes caring for her son when Jax is absent, ensuring that Cruz maintains contact with his father.
In the spirit of openness, I’m sharing my personal journey. Brittany and I, after almost five years as a married couple, decided to part ways, announcing our separation in February. Since then, I’ve found temporary refuge in an Airbnb, having left our $1.9 million home in Valley Village behind.
According to a source from DailyMail.com, Brittany has long encouraged Jax to seek professional help for his mental health issues. Now that he’s opted for treatment, she feels supportive and happy about it.
The former couple are ‘putting a pause’ on any talk of next steps, per the source.
Jax and Brittany have decided to take a break from their relationship, working through their marital issues separately for now.
According to the source, they emphasized that discussing the state of Jax’s marriage and future plans would have to wait until he receives assistance for his mental health matters first.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Cartwright’s representatives who declined to comment.
Simultaneously, Brittany is keeping things running smoothly at Jax’s Studio City location, regularly hosting The Bachelorette viewing gatherings with friends Tom Schwartz, Jasmine Goode, and Charity Lawson.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, it was reported that Charity, the main character from season 20 of The Bachelorette, facilitated the meeting between one of her past suitors, Tanner Courtad, and Brittany.
Brittany and Tanner have been spending time together since their encounter at the watch party for Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette, which took place at Jax’s Studio City on July 15.
Last week, on July 22nd, Tanner, who is 31 years old, joined another gathering with the reality star. According to our source, he’s been accompanying Brittany while she films ‘The Valley.’
“The cast just finished shooting a segment at Dave & Buster’s, it was for Janet Caperna’s birthday celebration.”
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement after hearing that the lady from Kentucky, who graced our screens on her August 2nd podcast “When Reality Hits with Jax & Brittany,” is said to be experiencing a significant upswing in happiness! Not only that, but recent reports suggest she’s shed some pounds too! I can hardly wait to see her shine even brighter!
According to the source, Brittany appears more content and less anxious these days, and this newfound joy seems to be influencing her to make healthier food choices and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
‘Separation and the time apart from Jax has been a really good thing for her for sure.’
An additional factor that could contribute to her reduced stress levels is the recent clearing of her $35,000 tax debt, according to an exclusive report by DailyMail.com.
DailyMail.com obtained documents showing that Brittany’s California state tax debt of $35,239.88 was documented by the Franchise Tax Board on July 26, 2024, approximately one month following the initial imposition of the lien.
Previously, it was reported by DailyMail.com that a tax lien was filed against her on June 12, 2024, several months following her departure from the matrimonial house she used to reside in with Jax.
Instead of departing from his spacious five-bedroom mansion (acquired in 2019) that covers an area of approximately 3,765 square feet in the San Fernando Valley, Jax opted to stay put.
Last season on The Valley, I admitted that I couldn’t wait for him to depart because the environment was simply unhealthy, particularly for my child. It had become overwhelmingly toxic.
For his part, Jax used his Instagram account from the wellness facility where he was undergoing treatment, to share with his followers that he was seeking improvement for the sake of his young son.
“Improving for our benefit, dear friend, and I deeply care for you,” he titled the picture of him kissing Cruz.
A rep for Jax told TMZ, ‘Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast.
He’s choosing to get hospital-based care. This is a delicate period for him and his loved ones, so they kindly request privacy and understanding while he feels prepared to discuss this further.
