Pregnant Lala Kent cradles her baby bump as she steps out in Los Angeles days before due date
As an ardent fan of Lala Kent, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions as I follow her journey through motherhood once again. The Vanderpump Rules star, just 33 and about to give birth any day now, is a testament to strength, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of a modern woman.
Lala Kent is on the verge of welcoming her second baby within a few days, as her scheduled delivery date is September 1st, which happens to be just a day prior to her 34th birthday.
33-year-old cast member of Vanderpump Rules, was observed with her mom, Lisa, in Los Angeles, collecting one of their pets from the veterinarian a few days before her expected delivery date.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I recently donned an effortlessly chic ensemble consisting of a snug black tank top gracefully hugging my growing belly, paired with sleek black bicycle shorts and stylish black knee-high compression socks.
She slipped her feet into a pair of jogging shoes as she walked beside her mom and her pit bull who wore the cone of shame.
Three-year-old Ocean, Lala’s daughter, is about to welcome a little girl as her new baby sister once Lala delivers.
She shares parenting responsibilities for Ocean with her former partner, Randall Emmett. For her forthcoming child, she opted to use a sperm donor.
Recently, Lala shared details about a very alarming health incident that occurred during her baby shower a month ago.
“She remembered saying that her limbs lost feeling, she struggled to breathe, and with all her might, she fought against fainting and managed to reach her bed,” she stated on her Give Them Lala podcast.
“Kent explained that he was attempting to call out for his mother, but once more, he found himself struggling severely, and he was extremely worried.”
In my own words, I find myself baffled by the situation. I’ve picked up whispers suggesting her unusual posture might be the issue, but it’s my constant complaints about discomfort that have me burdened with an intense sense of guilt. I can’t help but yearn for this ordeal to come to an end when it comes to my physical struggles.
In my fervor, I found myself calling the good doctor from my bed, yet after readjusting my position, I somehow managed to feel much improved.
Suddenly, I found myself able to take a breath again, she reminisced. The child inside me was certainly lively. I told the doctor, “She never stops moving,” and he replied, “Ah, I can relax a bit more now.”
The Spree actress assumed the baby was just ‘positioned weird,’ adding, ‘He was like, “I really need you to start staying off your feet. Don’t overdo it during the day.”
‘Which I have been,’ Kent admitted. ‘I think I’ve been overdoing it since [the] second trimester.’
In March, during an Amazon Live session, Kent publicly displayed her ultrasound scan of her unborn child and shared the reason behind her choice to use a sperm donor.
In the midst of my custody struggle with Emmett, aged 53, I expressed that one aspect I admire most about the person often referred to as my ‘baby daddy’ is his absence from our lives.
I’ve been quite transparent about desiring complete oversight, not over my child per se, but rather having them close by at all times.
“Kent mentioned that he’s had a particularly tough stretch in his past and with the ocean, and he emphasized, ‘My child is no longer open to being taken away from me.'”
