Hailee Steinfeld recently showed off her baby bump, not long after sharing the exciting news that she and her husband, Josh Allen, are expecting a child.
The 29-year-old actress, who married Buffalo Bills quarterback last May, shared photos on her newsletter Friday while looking back on the past year and ahead to 2026.
Last December, the couple happily announced on Instagram that they’re expecting their first child with a heartwarming video.
The actress, known for her role in ‘Sinners,’ shared a photo on her Beau Society page showing her shadowy outline against a wall.
I couldn’t believe my eyes! There she was, and you could just see her baby growing, it was beautiful! And the photo… a bright red heart with those words, ‘Mothers are underrated,’ right above it? It was like a message to her, and honestly, it just made me love her even more. It felt so personal, so perfect. I screenshotted it immediately, of course.
Another photo showed a baby’s onesie hanging on the Christmas tree, with the name ‘Baby Beau’ stitched on the front.
The expectant mother also shared photos from 2025, including pictures with her co-stars from the show ‘Sinners’ and time spent with her close friends.
She also shared more affectionate photos with Allen, including a black and white picture from their wedding.
The couple, who began dating in 2023, got married in a beautiful ceremony this past May in Santa Barbara.
At the outdoor wedding, the bride walked down the aisle with her father, Peter, at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito.
She wore a white, strapless dress with a long veil flowing from the back of her head, and delicate white gloves that reached her elbows.
Allen dressed up for the occasion in a classic black tuxedo, complete with a white shirt and black bow tie.
Guests dressed in formal black clothing enthusiastically cheered for the happy couple.
In her recent newsletter, Steinfeld shared that the past year was full of important achievements, personal development, and experiences that are still impacting her.
She explained that she now feels grounded and at peace, like she’s exactly where she’s supposed to be. This calm and comfortable feeling continued through the holidays.
The actress, known for her role in True Grit, shared with her fans that she’s been intentionally slowing down lately, and that this new year feels fresh and different.
She explained that she’s recently been more careful about making choices that feel genuinely good to her.
Ultimately, the actress shared that she’s been focusing on asking open-ended questions – ones that aren’t meant to be immediately answered or solved, but instead help gain understanding gradually.
Just a couple of months after getting married, the NFL player shared what married life with Steinfeld is like in an interview back in August.
The reporter mentioned to Fox Sports that he was happy to see the player marry his best friend, Hailee, during the break between seasons.
Allen shared that having strong support from his family and a partner who shares his passions and goals is incredibly fulfilling.
‘I get to support somebody as much as she supports me. So, very happy, obviously,’ he further gushed.
Just before their first Christmas as husband and wife, the couple shared a video on Instagram announcing they’re expecting their first child.
People noticed the actress showing off her pregnancy for the first time while standing in the snow.
Steinfeld was wearing a black sweater with the word ‘Mother’ on it, and Allen briefly kissed her stomach.
Then the video showed them, so cute, holding hands and gazing at a tiny snowman they’d built on the ground. It was a really sweet moment!
The Oscar-nominated actress simply added a red heart emoji in the caption of the post.
Gigi Hadid penned, ‘Omg yaaaaaayyyy,’ while the official NFL account added, ‘congrats!!!!’
Bailee Madison, known for her role in the show ‘Brothers,’ shared her excitement, writing, ‘I’m so incredibly happy for both of you! What a beautiful baby! I think this is the best thing you’ve ever done.’
And a month before the pregnancy announcement, Steinfeld opened up about finding love with Allen.
She told Bustle last November that she’s incredibly grateful to have found her life partner, calling it the best thing that’s ever happened to her.
Things finally feel right. I feel like I’m becoming the person I’ve always wanted to be, and being with him is a big part of that.
When asked about having children someday, Steinfeld responded simply, ‘Of course.’
