Pregnant Amy Hart reveals she was rushed to hospital for tests after noticing her baby’s ‘change in movements’

Amy Hart went to the hospital on Wednesday to get checked after noticing her baby wasn’t moving as much as usual.

Former Love Island contestant, 33, announced in November that she and her husband, Sam Rason, 38, are expecting their second child. They are already parents to their two-year-old son, Stanley.

Amy shared that the baby’s heartbeat is strong, but asked fans to contact their triage nurse if they notice anything unusual or a change in the baby’s typical patterns.

Amy said she was invited into hospital to be monitored but is now home safe and doing well.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘Just a reminder that if your movement changes at all call the triage!!

When I was pregnant with my first child, Stanley, I didn’t know what to expect and had an anterior placenta, which made me second-guess everything. I often worried about bothering the doctor, so I’d sometimes wait a few days to call, only to be told I should have called sooner!

I’m feeling a lot of movement this time, even though I have a front-placed placenta again and a more established pattern of kicks. When I noticed a change today, I called my doctor and was asked to come in right away.

Everything’s okay, and my pulse is strong. I even had time to finish most of my work makeup while I was waiting on hold.

She shared an update on Thursday, saying she was grateful for all the kind messages she received the day before. She also emphasized how important it is to get any health concerns checked by a doctor.

I was really touched to hear the reality star open up just recently about how much her anxiety is affecting this pregnancy. It’s so brave of her to share, especially knowing she’s been through two heartbreaking miscarriages before getting pregnant again. It feels important to talk about these struggles, and I admire her for doing so.

Amy shared last year that she and her husband, Sam, are expecting a baby. She also revealed that getting pregnant hadn’t been easy.

Amy recently shared with the Daily Mail about the emotional pain she experienced after two miscarriages. She explained that because of those losses, it was difficult for her and her partner, Sam, to feel fully joyful when they discovered they were pregnant again.

It’s been really tough, but she’s said they’ve both been trying to just live life as usual and not dwell on things. Honestly, because of the previous miscarriages, she’s been understandably much more anxious throughout this pregnancy, and I’ve been so worried about her.

Amy has responded to online criticism of her parenting, saying she’ll be trusting her own instincts more when her next child arrives. She’s pushing back against those who judge mothers online.

As a longtime follower of Amy’s story, I know she and her husband had experienced the heartbreak of two miscarriages before. So, when they discovered they were expecting Stanley, it was a complete surprise – definitely not something they had planned for, but a welcome one, I’m sure!

We were surprised and a little worried, so we took another test. When we found out we were pregnant in December, we were shocked because it happened so quickly – on the first try, actually! We thought it was funny and unbelievable. Sadly, I later miscarried.

When we found out we were pregnant again, we were really excited! I even filmed us celebrating – we weren’t the type to get overly emotional about pregnancy tests, so it was more of a quiet ‘woo-hoo’ moment.

I had another miscarriage, and when I finally got a positive pregnancy test the third time, we decided to just keep living our lives normally, without dwelling on it too much. I’ve been trying not to overthink things.

Sam is feeling a mix of excitement and worry. He says he won’t be able to fully relax until the baby arrives.

Amy said her son Stanley is thrilled to become a big brother, even though she was initially worried about how he’d react. She’s also been feeling well throughout her pregnancy, with only some morning sickness early on.

The celebrity shared that she’s learned to deal with negative comments from people criticizing her parenting of her son, Stanley. She plans to continue ignoring such criticism when her new baby is born.

She explained that after having Stanley, people constantly criticized her parenting, telling her she was doing everything wrong and overfeeding him. She felt frustrated, wondering if they wanted her to let him go hungry instead.

Looking at Stanley now, he’s doing great – he’s healthy, well-built, friendly, talkative, and has a wonderful sense of humor. He genuinely enjoys life.

I told them, “You know what? We’ve actually made a lot of progress with you.” This time, I’m relying on my own judgment and not paying attention to distractions.
