PR queen Roxy Jacenko reveals her 10-year-old son Hunter Curtis’ shocking $4,500 Christmas wish list
As a dedicated observer of the lives of successful women, I find Roxy Jacenko to be quite intriguing. Her latest Instagram post revealing her son Hunter’s extravagant Christmas wish list is nothing short of astonishing, especially considering the price tag that comes with it. Yet, it seems to me that this level of luxury has become a norm for the Jacenko family, given Roxy’s penchant for grand displays, such as her recent $15,000 Christmas decorations.
On Sunday, I was taken aback when my ten-year-old son, Hunter Curtis, shared his extraordinary Christmas wish list with me.
44-year-old PR expert showcased on Instagram a photo of a one-page, handwritten wishlist featuring expensive items totalling approximately $4,500.
The youngster also wished for an iPad Pro, along with the newest versions of sports shoes, among other soccer-related items such as jerseys and balls.
Roxy labeled the photo, “Hunter is meticulous – a true reflection of his mother,” suggesting she was proud that her son had compiled an extensive and costly wishlist of items for her to buy.
On the given list, the priciest item turned out to be the iPad Pro. To this, Hunter requested additional features like 1TB storage and nano-texture glass, pushing its total cost up to an astonishing $2,929.
Following that, I couldn’t help but express my passion by asking for a set of LeBron James XXII basketball kicks priced at $280, a pair of Nike Jr Mercurial Vapor Pro soccer shoes valued at $200, and the Giannis Immortality 4 sneakers costing $110.
Among Roxy’s two kids, the youngest one, Hunter, requested a reflex punching bag that costs around $200 as well.
The pre-teen went on to list several soccer jerseys he wanted from the West Ham United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Barcelona teams—all worth $100-$150 each.
On the given list, a Nike Pro basketball priced at $50 was the least expensive item. Additionally, both an Adidas and a Nike soccer ball were included, with prices ranging from $25 to $210.
It comes just days after Roxy showed off her extravagant $15,000 Christmas decorations as she got into the festive spirit last week.
On Tuesday, the co-founder of Sweaty Betty shared a peek at the unique fairy lights she’d set up outside her luxurious home in Singapore, via Instagram, for her followers to see.
Roxy, dividing her days between Sydney and Singapore following her relocation to Singapore with her spouse, adorned the front of her home with tall, twinkling fairy lights from floor to ceiling.
The exterior of her sprawling Sentosa Island home is entirely lit up by the 11-metre curtain of lights, adding a further luxurious touch to the property for the festive period.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I didn’t hold back when it came to my holiday décor. I opted for the expertise of the renowned Australian lighting company, Mr & Mrs Hill, to ensure my festive display was nothing short of spectacular.
Roxy wrote, ‘I’m just ordinary, as am I with @mrandmrshill_, but we have completed the installation of this year’s Christmas lights.’
Roxy’s grand residence can be found along the prestigious Sentosa Cove, affectionately known as ‘Millionaire’s Row.’ This exclusive area boasts numerous opulent homes, with a significant number priced over $25 million.
The Jacenko project signifies that Mr. & Mrs. Hill are embarking on their initial overseas setup, and they’re joining forces with a local electric utility company for this venture.
In conversation with Daily Mail Australia, Cassandra Hill disclosed that the installation cost around $15,000 and required two days for its setup.
Speaking about Roxy’s holiday display, this task was significant for us because it represented our debut on an international stage. It’s also a full-comeback, as Roxy was our inaugural client for Christmas lighting services four years back,” she explained.
For this task, we collaborated on the design concept while working from our respective locations in Australia. Roxy provided us with pictures and initial dimensions of her house, which we used to create a personalized lighting plan.
After they were completed, we arranged for the products to be air-shipped to Singapore. A local electric crew performed the installation under our supervision.
The main attraction of the setup is a set of 11-meter tall, custom-made light curtains, which were securely fastened using a cherry picker.
She added, “It took us two full days to finish setting up everything, but we encountered some hiccups because of the frequent rain showers that are common in Singapore during this season.
Last year, I, along with my children Pixie, aged 13, and Hunter, aged 10, moved from Sydney to Singapore, accompanied by Roxy and Oliver.
They took action once Oliver secured a job in the countryside, prompting Roxy to close down some of her Australian businesses to relocate and be with him there.
After a gap of two years, she has now resumed her role at Sweaty Betty PR in Sydney following her resignation as its director.
In September, Roxy clarified that she will indeed be back. She went on to express that the role of a housewife isn’t something she was intended for and instead, she finds it more manageable to oversee six different businesses.
