Spoilers for Power Book IV: Force season 3, episode 1 follow.
The new season of Power Book IV: Force started last night, with Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) establishing his presence in Chicago and a surprising character reappearing.
Tommy wants his gang, the Coalition, to be the sole source of drugs in Chicago, but he’s likely to face unexpected challenges in achieving that goal.
What to Read Next
This final season begins immediately after the last one ended, with Tommy having abandoned Vic and Claudia Flynn, leaving them in a dangerous situation.
In the season two finale, Tommy manipulated Vic into giving false information to the Feds and then coldly declared that he controlled him. He then left Vic at the mercy of two dangerous men from the CBI, who were prepared to kill him. As AUSA Stacy Marks and her team rushed to save him, Vic’s life hung in the balance.

Claudia, his sister, faced a difficult situation: she was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder, and while in jail, was attacked – seemingly set up by Tommy and Shanti (also known as Adrienne Walker). Everyone believed she had died. But that wasn’t the end of the story.
Fans were shocked and delighted to see Claudia back this season! She made her return in the third episode while still recovering from a knife attack in the hospital.
In a recent conversation with Digital Spy, Simmons shared what it’s like to return to the show Force for its last season.
She was thrilled, saying, “It really felt like we were a family while filming, and we worked hard to create that atmosphere. That’s what I miss the most now—being with everyone. We were all so close, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what viewers think of this new season.”

Simmons then explained how Claudia intends to survive in prison and get revenge on Tommy and his associates.
I believe she’ll do anything to escape. She’s really driven by a desire for power, and she’s definitely seeking revenge.
