In the past few weeks, the trip to Milan occurred following Jamie Park, a former fiancée of Post, seeking to drop the child custody case between them, which is currently being handled in Los Angeles.

The dismissal of the case served as a minor triumph for Post, considering that California courts often grant larger child support payments.

Still, the custody fight between the exes is far from over.

A post highlights an artist who transitioned from rap to country music; they share a child named Hee Sung, born last year (2022).

In November 2024, their relationship concluded not long after the child’s second birthday. At that time, Post submitted a custody request in Utah, and Park initiated a similar process in California.

Amidst the ongoing chaos, it’s worth noting that the top-charting individual recently went through yet another split. This time, he parted ways with his girlfriend, Christy Lee, just a few weeks prior, ending their relationship in a quiet manner.

The battle for custody isn’t concluded quite yet; instead, it’s advancing further in Utah, where the initial filing was made by Post.

In the original submission, Park proposed shared legal custody and access rights for Post, while she desired primary physical custody to be with herself.

The Sunflower singer pushed back hard in May, filing paperwork to get her case tossed out. 

He accused Park of trying to gain a strategic edge by filing in Los Angeles rather than Utah.

Laura Wasser, his strong legal representative, contended that the child has well-established connections in Utah – such as a nanny, a pediatrician, and consistent routines involving music, gym, and swimming lessons.

In her latest submissions to the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Park chooses to call their child exclusively by the initials DDP.

In her recent attempt, Park requested the court to grant her sole physical custody of their two-year-old child. However, she expressed a readiness to co-share legal custody and provide Post with regular visitation or what is commonly known as ‘parenting time’.

2024 saw the reported end of Park’s relationship with Post, and in court documents, she stated that their daughter, DDP, has resided with her permanently since November.

The paperwork also revealed new details, including that the little girl was born in May 2022. 

Park is additionally demanding that Post foot the bill for her legal fees.

As a devoted follower of the child support guidelines, I understand that the court holds the power to decree payments towards our children’s welfare and can directly order deductions from anyone’s earnings – all without any additional notices being issued to either party.

In response, Post has already submitted sealed custody papers in Utah, which is where he primarily resides. However, he has yet to publicly respond to Park’s most recent requests.

The pleasant excursion in Milan with Korkunova occurred right after Post made a shift, moving into the limelight as the fresh ambassador for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand.
