Porsha Williams recently shared who she’s been dating, after first publicly confirming her relationship with a woman almost two months ago.
Kenya Moore, 44, recently confirmed her new relationship with Patrice ‘Sway’ McKinney on Instagram. This comes after her divorce from Simon Guobadia was completed in June.
Porsha and her new partner looked very affectionate in a set of photos she shared. She wished him a happy birthday, writing, ‘Happy Birthday @sway_thepro! Hoping this year brings you everything you desire and even more!’
In anticipation of their weekend plans, she added, ‘Can’t wait to act up Saturday!’
Sway owns Encore Salon Suites in Atlanta and, based on their Instagram profile, coaches people on how to successfully launch and run their own salon suite businesses.
Porsha shared a carousel post showing her and her partner cuddling in front of a Christmas tree, along with videos of them enjoying a night out at a club.
The TV star wore a tight-fitting, long leopard-print dress with thin straps in the pictures and videos.
She had long, highlighted brown hair styled with a side part, and she shared a loving moment with her girlfriend.
Sway wore black pants and a black zip-up hoodie, and had her hair pulled back from her face.
She wore a necklace and a bright, noticeable watch, and briefly showed off her arm, which had a lot of tattoos.
This is Porsha’s first public romance since her split from Simon was finalized over the summer.
She started divorce proceedings in February 2024, a little over a year after her marriage to the 61-year-old businessman. He was previously married to Falynn Pina, who also appears on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
At BravoCon in Las Vegas earlier this month, a media personality gave a fan some dating advice, confessing she was still working on understanding her own love life.
She told a woman in her thirties who was feeling nervous about dating to really understand herself and what she’s looking for. And, she emphasized, if something feels wrong, don’t hesitate to end things immediately.
Porsha revealed earlier in October, at CultureCon, that she was choosing between two potential partners: a man and a woman.
‘Of the people I am talking to now… he is nice — and she is nice,’ she told attendees at the time.
The reality star didn’t reveal who she was seeing, but shared that she’s being careful about who she dates, especially after dealing with a lot of difficult relationships.
‘I really wanted to make sure these were normal people,’ she explained.
The star was previously married to NFL alum Kordell Stewart from 2011 until 2013.
She told fans at CultureCon that she has been introspective about her love life while in therapy.
I need to be more understanding and patient,” she realized. “I can’t expect everything to be perfect, and I should be prepared for people to point out my mistakes sometimes.
