Porsha Williams left heartbroken after death of beloved young family member who starred in spin-off Bravo reality show

As a follower who has witnessed the rollercoaster ride of reality TV and its cast members’ lives for years, I must say, the passing of Yolanda ‘Londie’ Favors at such a young age is truly heart-wrenching. Having seen her on Porsha’s Family Matters, it was evident that she was more than just a reality star; she was a loving friend, a caring cousin, and an integral part of the lives of those around her.

Yolanda ‘Londie’ Favors died at the age of 34 on Wednesday, August 7.

On Sunday, Porsha Williams disclosed the heartbreaking information about the passing of her younger relative and paid a touching tribute in their honor.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I regretfully share that the unfortunate demise of a cast member from Porsha’s spinoff series, “Porsha’s Family Matters,” has left us without an official cause of death at this time.

Favors would have celebrated her 35th birthday on August 21. 

In tribute to her younger cousin, the star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta posted the final picture that Favors had shared on Instagram, along with a thoughtful quote by author E.A. Bucchianeri.

The picture she shared on social media of her cousin, originally posted by Favors on Instagram in 2022, had a caption penned by author Renee Wood: “Your life was a blessing, your memory is a treasure, and you are loved more than words can express, and will be missed far beyond measure.”

Porsha included the same quote in her caption. 

Indeed, as Porsha cited Bucchianeri, it’s accurate to say that the cost of love is grief, which was the sentiment she expressed as she paid tribute to her dear baby cousin, Favors, in a heartfelt caption.

‘Londie, you were our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin, and so much more,’ she wrote. 

‘You were a precious gift in our lives, and the memories we have of you are priceless. Words can’t express how much you are cherished, and there isn’t enough space to contain the sorrow of your absence.’

She went on to say, “Your contributions during your stay among us were immense and invaluable, but even as you move forward, your spirit will continue to guide us through tough times and the future. For this, we are forever thankful.”

She concluded her heartfelt note and wrote: ‘Love you always Dear Baby Cousin. RIP.’

Several friends from Porsha’s group on The Real Housewives of Atlanta expressed their sympathy with heartfelt messages following a tragic event.

In a heartfelt message, Phaedra Parks expressed, ‘I deeply mourn for you and your family.’ She added, “It’s often said that only the good die young, and Londie was more than good, she was exceptional. I pray God finds her works pleasing and may you always have peace, wisdom beyond measure, and an indescribable joy.”

Kenya Moore responded with three doves, while Cynthia Bailey said, “Wow. Heartbroken. She was always kind, sweet, and overflowing with love. She will be deeply missed by everyone. Sending my sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.”

Kandi Burruss also commented and wrote: ‘She was a beautiful person! I’m sorry for your loss.’ 

Tanya Sam, who was a friend of NeNe Leakes on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, also expressed her sympathies by commenting. She penned, ‘Oh my goodness, noooo! I’m deeply sorry for your loss.’ She had encountered her not once but twice at Atlanta & Co. recently. Her sincerest condolences go out to you and your entire family.

Shawntae Harris-Dupart, known as Da Brat in the music industry, expressed: ‘Hold on a second,’ I’m completely bewildered. Oh dear, no I’m not. Londie is my friend, indeed. THE MOST CAPTIVATING. Oh, I feel so sorry, guys. She always made me laugh without fail.
