Popular romance series branded “can’t miss summer watch” re-enters streaming chart ahead of new season

The Summer I Turned Pretty has re-entered Prime Video’s Top 10 ahead of its new season.

This much-acclaimed romantic series, often described as a “must-see summer getaway” and an “unmissable summer must-watch,” will debut its concluding third season on a streaming service starting from July 16th.

Before its new season debuts, the show is now ranking third among the most popular TV series on Amazon Prime Video’s streaming service. It’s currently occupying the third position in their Top 10 TV shows list.

In terms of popularity, Rosamund Pike’s fantasy series “The Wheel of Time” comes in second place, with the action series “Reacher” taking the top spot.

The novel, titled “The Summer I Turned Pretty“, can be characterized as a heartfelt multi-generational drama that revolves around a love triangle involving a girl and two brothers. It also delves into the dynamic relationship between mothers and their children, while showcasing the lasting influence of profound female friendships.

The show’s official description tells us it’s a tale of growing up, filled with first loves, first disappointments, and the enchantment of an unforgettable summer.

In the final episode of season two, Lola Tung’s character, Belly, picked Gavin Casalegno’s character, Jeremiah, instead of Christopher Briney’s character, Conrad.

In the third season, events unfold according to the third book in Jenny Han’s trilogy titled “We’ll Always Have Summer.” The narrative continues post-Belly’s significant decision.

At the close of her junior year at college, Belly eagerly anticipates spending another summer with her beloved partner, Jeremiah, in Cousins. (This is a summary for season three.)
