Popular K-pop band, NewJeans, is coming to Fortnite (everything we know)

The Fortnite Festival has been host to some major collaborations, such as those with artists like The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Metallica. Now, this widely played game mode is set to welcome the renowned K-pop group, New Jeans, to Fortnite.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that when we join the Fortnite Festival with NewJeans, it’s not just limited to that event. There’s a good chance their collaboration could extend beyond the festival and influence the regular Battle Royale gameplay as well.

So, when is NewJeans coming to Fortnite? And what do we know about the collaboration so far?

When is NewJeans coming to Fortnite?

Approximately a month or two ago, information about Fortnite’s upcoming artist collaborations was made public before schedule. This revelation came as a surprise to players, who were already aware of the Billie Eilish partnership that had already taken place, as well as the planned collaborations with Karol G and Snoop Dogg.

Additionally, Fortnite enthusiasts were surprised with the news that a K-pop band was going to make an appearance in the game. Initially, there were rumors suggesting that BLACKPINK would be the musical act, but these speculations were soon debunked by reliable sources.

On July 19, 2024, several sources have revealed that NewJeans is the upcoming K-pop group set to appear in Fortnite. The exact timing, however, remains undisclosed.

NewJeans is set to arrive in Fortnite in December of 2024. There is no official release date yet.

Who is NewJeans?

If you’re not familiar with NewJeans yet, they are a relatively new K-pop group that has already made a big impact since their debut in 2022. Some of their popular songs include “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum,” which have resonated strongly within the K-pop fanbase.

After that, the girls have dropped numerous popular songs and traveled around the globe, entertaining millions of fans who eagerly attended their concerts.
