Ben Miller has announced that his ITV crime series, Professor T, will return for a sixth season. He revealed the news on The One Show, explaining that the new season is already being developed, even before season five premieres later this year.
Okay, so I just heard some awesome news! Apparently, Death in Paradise is definitely coming back for a fifth season. The actor told Radio Times they’re aiming to release it this fall, which is great! I’m really looking forward to it.
Just so you know, we’re already making season 6! We’re really thrilled about it.

The series Professor T features Ben Miller as Jasper Tempest, a brilliant criminologist at Cambridge University who also lives with obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Okay, so the premise of this show is awesome. It’s about this super-smart guy who’s a total neat freak – seriously, everything has to be perfect. But, ironically, he’s brilliant at solving crimes, which means he constantly has to dive into messy situations and get his hands dirty helping the police with the toughest cases. It’s a funny contrast, and I’m already hooked!

The show features a talented cast including Emma Naomi, Barney White, Frances de la Tour, Zoë Wanamaker, Sunetra Sarker, and Juliet Aubrey.
ITV announced that the fifth season of Professor T will feature a storyline involving a boxing match with a violent outcome, and a string of mysterious deaths at a luxury spa.
Okay, so things are really getting intense in the game now! A lot of characters I love are going to be put in some seriously difficult situations, and honestly, the pressure on Professor T and his whole team feels bigger than ever before. It’s like, everything’s on the line!
I’ve been really into Professor T lately, and it seems like a lot of other people are too! It’s got a solid 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb, which is pretty good, if you ask me.
A viewer praised Ben Miller’s portrayal of The Professor, saying he perfectly captures the character’s unique blend of intelligence, eccentricity, and dedication to finding answers.
Someone else commented that a review couldn’t fully capture how good the show is, calling it underrated and often missed. They enjoyed the mysteries and how they were solved, but especially praised the central character, the professor, as the show’s greatest strength.

Wow, this show feels incredibly authentic. It’s like the creators really did their homework, or maybe even went through similar experiences themselves – it’s that well-done. And Ben Miller? Seriously, he’s killing it in his role! It’s just a really impactful performance.
One viewer raved about the show, saying it’s both intelligent and captivating, while also being surprisingly heartwarming.
This show is beautifully written and features excellent performances, all set in a wonderfully cozy and calming atmosphere. The way it explores crime and investigation is incredibly insightful – it’s like you’re actually sitting in on the professor’s lecture.
Professor T is available to stream on ITVX and Disney+ in the UK.
