Police drama with ‘one of TV’s best detectives’ climbs the UK streaming chart with new episodes

The second season of the police drama Cross, starring Aldis Hodge, recently launched on Prime Video and is quickly becoming popular with UK viewers. Based on the Alex Cross book series by James Patterson, the show features Hodge as a brilliant Washington DC detective and forensic psychologist. It was developed by Ben Watkins.

The story begins with Detective Cross thinking about taking time off after his wife’s murder. However, he decides to stay on the case when he’s assigned to investigate the death of an activist involved with the Defund the Police and Black Lives Matter movements.

The first three episodes of season 2 became available on Prime Video on February 11th and are currently the third most popular show on the platform. New episodes will be released each week, with the season concluding on March 18th.
