Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2025: Schedule and Format

Gearing up for an exciting adventure, I’m all set to dive into the tournament starting on the 15th of August 2025. This epic event spans over three action-packed days, wrapping up on the 17th of August, promising a thrilling gaming experience from start to finish!

The event is structured with two main parts: the “Group Phase” and the “Playoff Round”. In the initial phase, all 32 participating squads will take part. These teams will then be split into eight groups of four, where they’ll play against each other once in a “best-of-three series” (BO3). The best two teams from every group will proceed to the Playoffs.

As a thrilled spectator, I’m excited to share that we’re moving forward! The last 16 teams are about to dive into the single-elimination bracket, battling it out in a best-of-three (BO3) format. However, the semifinals and finals will ramp up the intensity with a best-of-five (BO5) showdown. The grand final is scheduled for day 3, marking the climax of this exciting event, while other matches will unfold on the second day. Can’t wait to see who emerges victorious!
