Pokémon UNITE welcomes Mega Evolution Pokémon to their roster with Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X joining this October

The Pokemon Company has revealed that Mega Evolution Pokemons will be incorporated into their hit Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, Pokemon UNITE. Specifically, Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X are scheduled to debut on October 3 and October 24 respectively. Additionally, two more Mega Evolutions are expected to make an appearance by the close of 2025.

Pokémon UNITE has added a new twist with their announcement of water-type Pokémons such as Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon. To crank up the excitement even more, they’re introducing Mega Evolution Pokémons, so you can expect to play with Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X starting next month.

Starting October 3rd, you’ll be able to join the action as the powerful Mega Lucario. And if you can’t wait for more action, Mega Charizard X will be available from October 24th onwards. To make things even more exciting, two additional Mega Evolution Pokémon are expected to arrive at Aeos Island before the year ends. However, specific details about these newcomers are yet to be disclosed.

Pawmot, an all-rounder Pokémon, joins the action early this month

Currently, there’s a lot of joy within the community following this announcement. One enthusiast commented, “I’M THRILLED! Pokemon Unite is delivering in Year 4,” while another expressed, “Wowwww. I picked the perfect moment to resume playing.” Intriguingly enough, I too can’t wait to explore Mega Charizard X and its abilities.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that starting September 4, I’ll be welcoming a new addition to my team – Pawmot, an electric-type all-rounder Pokémon! In the meantime, before we get our hands on the Mega Evolution Pokémon, we can start playing with Pawmot from September 4. If you’re eager for more action, you can join in even earlier, starting September 19, by taking control of Empoleon as well!
