Pokémon Unite Latias Movesets
Basic Attack
Deals damage to opposing Pokémon.
Passive – Levitate
When this Pokemon performs an attack, it temporarily boosts its own speed. Much like having Latios nearby, it also speeds up. If Latios is part of the same team, this Pokemon can fly directly to Latios. However, this power can only be activated when the Pokemon isn’t engaged in battle. After being used, it goes on a brief cool-down period.
Ability 1 – Confusion
Did the user emit a faint telekinesis, moving it in the specified direction, causing harm and temporarily reducing the speed of enemy Pokémon it strikes?
Ability Choices at Level 7
At Level 7, Latias would have to choose either of the following abilities:
| Mist Ball | Dragon Cheer |
|---|---|
| Has the user release a mist-like flurry of down in the designated direction. After a set amount of time passes, or if the move is used again, the flurry of down bursts creates a zone of mist. Opposing Pokémon in the zone take damage, receive a slowing effect, and are marked. Marked opposing Pokémon deal decreased damage. If either Latias or Latios hits marked Pokémon with basic attacks, the duration those Pokémon remain marked increases. | Has the user rally the designated ally Pokémon, granting itself and that Pokémon a shield. If the rallied ally Pokémon is Latios, movement speed is also increased. The rallied ally Pokémon’s next attack deals additional damage. This move can be used again to rally a second designated ally Pokémon. If this second usage rallies the same ally Pokémon as the first, the user also flies to that Pokémon and rallies itself. |
| Upgrade: Increases the duration opposing Pokemon remain marked. | Upgrade: Strengthens the effect of the shield granted by this move. |
Ability 2 – Swift
As a dedicated trainer, I unleash a shower of starburst beams in the chosen direction, striking any adversarial Pokémon within range and causing them significant harm.
Ability Choices at Level 5
At Level 5, either of these two moves becomes available.
| Dragon Pulse | Dragon Breath |
|---|---|
| After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user generate a beam in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and restoring the user’s HP. If the user hits an opposing Pokémon with this move, the user gains Eon power. This move also releases telekinetic projectiles, which deal damage. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the more projectiles are released and the more damage they deal. | After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user exhale a mighty gust in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and decreasing their Sp. Def. If this move hits Pokémon on the opposing team, the user gains Eon power. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the greater this move’s attack range and damage. |
| Upgrade: The beam also applies a slowing effect to opposing Pokemon. | Upgrade: Also applies a slowing effect. |
Unite Move – Mist Blast
When using this ability, the user focuses on the chosen enemy Pokémon, builds power, and then discharges a pulse that inflicts damage. Upon use, the cooldown for the move is instantly reset and temporarily decreases. If Latios targets the same opposing Pokémon with its Unite Move at the same time, the pulses accumulate and eventually explode, causing damage in the target’s vicinity as well.

Pokémon Unite Latias Gameplay Tips
Let’s delve into our comprehensive guide on playing Pokémon Unite, offering strategies for mastering various Pokémon throughout the game. This guide is divided into two key stages: early game and late game. Make sure to read through both sections till the end for optimal results.
Early Game
Because Latias doesn’t undergo evolution, it’s quite formidable from the get-go. In terms of strategy, players have the option to pick either Top or Bottom Lane to support their teammate during laning phase. Initially, it’s crucial to concentrate on farming to boost Latias’ level and unlock additional powerful combo moves.

It’s advisable to focus on improving Swift first, as it inflicts significant damage and aids in efficient farming early in the game. On the other hand, Confusion boosts your offensive prowess by slowing down enemies affected by its ability. When used together, these abilities can be incredibly potent.
Focus on assisting your fellow lane partner in farming efficiently and swiftly defeating early game Pokémon such as Rotom. This will aid them in leveling up quickly, defeating enemy Pokémon, and scoring crucial points towards securing victory for your team. When collaborating with allies like its twin, Latios, they can form a potent combination capable of exerting significant force on the battlefield.
Late Game
For better performance with Latias in battle, consider activating the suggested build by acquiring Mist Ball and Dragon Breath. These skills offer damage and a debilitating effect on enemy Pokémon, enhancing your chances of victory.

The Dragon Cheer and Dragon Pulse combo is a valuable choice for Latias since it enables her to aid and bolster allies’ Pokémon more efficiently, while maintaining a bit of aggression. Depending on your strategy, you might find this combination beneficial. In addition, during the Zapdos fight, Latias’ Unite move can be highly useful as it helps to eliminate and snatch the focused enemy target.
Positioning of Latias
For Latias, it’s advisable to choose either the top or bottom lane. Focus on helping your teammates farm Aipoms and Audinos to level up quickly. Try to take down groups of Combees and Vespiqueen as often as you can for extra experience points and easy level-ups. Latias works best when paired with an ally who is a speedster or attacker, offensively.
