Pokémon UNITE expands its Mega Evolution lineup with Mega Gyarados and Mega Charizard Y joining this December

The Pokémon Company has announced two new Mega Evolution Pokémon – Mega Gyarados and Mega Charizard Y – that will be added to Pokémon UNITE this December. These additions will bring fresh gameplay experiences with their unique evolved abilities to the popular team-based strategy game.

Mega Gyarados and Mega Charizard Y join next month as the final two releases of this year

After adding Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X in October, Pokémon Unite announced that Mega Gyarados and Mega Charizard Y will be the next Mega Evolutions available in December.

You will be able to get both the Mega Evolution Pokémon for free

The update last October opened up exciting new team-building options by letting players use both regular and Mega-Evolved versions of the same Pokémon at the same time. For example, you can now build a team with Charizard, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y all together, creating a really fun and dynamic experience for players.

While details are still limited, Mega Charizard Y and Mega Gyarados are significantly more powerful in battle. The good news is you can obtain these new Mega Evolutions for free through special events!

You can earn special Pokémon through exclusive in-game events, including special matches and login bonuses. Completing these events lets you get Mega Evolution Pokémon for free! These new additions make December an exciting month for Pokémon fans!
