The organization known as “The Pokémon Company” has revealed that three additional characters – Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon – will soon be incorporated into their rapidly expanding roster of the acclaimed game called “Pokémon UNITE,” which is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) title. Empoleon will make its debut on September 19th, with Dhelmise and Vaporeon expected to follow at a later date.
Empoleon arrives next month, followed by two new water-type Pokémon
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that Pokémon UNITE is expanding its roster with the addition of Empoleon, set to join the fray on September 19! Get ready to test out its impressive moves in high-stakes battles. After Empoleon, Dhelmise and Vaporeon are also eagerly anticipated additions, although their release dates have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

During the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, fans got a sneak peek at some new features in the game. After taking a break, I’m eager to get back into it now that Empoleon and Vaporeon are playable characters, with the community also looking forward to the inclusion of all three.
Beginning on September 4th, Groudon will be present as a formidable neutral boss in the Theia Sky Ruins. Overcoming Groudon will significantly increase your attacking power and speed up your goal scoring, making it a worthwhile pursuit. Notably, if you manage to knock out a Pokémon carrying Groudon’s effect, this effect will transfer directly to you.
