The Pokemon Company has revealed that Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon will be adding their unique skills to the expanding team of the hit MOBA, Pokemon UNITE. Empoleon is set to make its debut on September 19, with Dhelmise and Vaporeon following at a later date.

During the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, fans got a sneak peek at some new additions in the game. After taking a break, I’m eager to jump back in now that Empoleon and Vaporeon are playable characters. It seems the community is equally thrilled about the introduction of all three new options.

Furthermore, beginning on September 4th, Groudon will make an appearance as a formidable neutral boss in the Theia Sky Ruins. Successfully defeating Groudon grants you a significant attack enhancement and quicker goal scoring, making it an attractive target. Moreover, should you knock out a Pokémon harboring Groudon’s effect, that effect will be transferred to you.
