Pokémon Unite Dhelmise Movesets

Basic Attack

Has the user attack by slamming its body.

Passive – Steelworker

Whenever this Pokémon damages an opponent with a move, it gains a shield. This shield can stack up to three times, and each shield increases the damage of its next basic attack. After a short time, any remaining shield will heal the Pokémon.

Ability 1 – Payback

This move makes the user swing its Anchor, damaging opponents and slowing them down. If an opponent attacks the user while this move is in progress, the damage dealt by the Anchor increases.

Ability Choices at Level 5

At Level 5, Dhelmise will have to choose either of the following abilities:

Power WhipWhirlpool
Has the user slash its anchor horizontally in front of itself, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect when it hits and granting the user a shield. The edge of the anchor deals additional damage and leaves opposing Pokémon it hits unable to act.Has the user swing its anchor diagonally.dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon.Every third time the move is used, it generates a whirlpool centered on the user, pulling in nearby opposing Pokémon. This move’s cooldown is reduced every time the user hits with a basic attack.
Upgrade: Increases the duration opposing Pokémon are left unable to actUpgrade: Further reduces this move’s cooldown every time the user hits with a basic attack.

Ability 2 – Bulldoze

As a fan, I’m so excited about this move! It lets a Pokémon really shake things up by slamming its Anchor down – it deals damage to the opponent and actually throws them around, which is awesome!

Ability Choices at Level 7

At Level 7, either of these two moves becomes available.

Anchor ShotHeavy Slam
Has the user throw its anchor in the designated direction and catch an opposing Pokemon with it. dealing damage and leaving it unable to act. The user then pulls the opposing Pokémon toward itself.Has the user lob its anchor in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon at the point of impact and leaving them unable to act. Opposing Pokémon near the point of impact take damage and have a slowing effect applied to them. The user then slams its heavy body down at the anchor’s point of impact, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits.
Upgrade: Increases the amount of damage dealt to the pulled opposing PokémonUpgrade: When the user slams its heavy body down, opposing Pokémon at the center of the point of impact are left unable to act.

Unite Move – Seaweed Snare

This Unite Move lets the user throw an anchor to pull a target enemy Pokémon close, dealing damage and stunning it. The user then quickly charges forward, hitting the anchored Pokémon again for more damage and another stun. If the anchor or charge also hits other enemies, they’ll take damage and be pushed back. Importantly, the user heals itself by absorbing some of the damage it deals with this move.

Pokémon Unite Dhelmise Gameplay Tips

This Pokémon Unite Dhelmise guide will show you how to play the Pokémon effectively and create a winning strategy. We’ll cover both the early and late stages of the game, so be sure to read through the entire guide.

Early Game

Early in the game, Dhelmise focuses on playing it safe, building up defenses with shields, and controlling the lane. Players can effectively use Dhelmise in either the Top or Bottom Lane. Use the move Payback to create some pressure on opponents while also quickly leveling up by defeating wild Pokémon and apioms.

Using Payback frequently will activate your shield ability, so try to land hits on both opponents and wild Pokémon as much as possible to keep it active. This will help you stay in lane longer and safely compete for early-game advantages. At Level 3, combine Payback with Bulldoze for even more control – Bulldoze can knock enemies around, letting you secure last hits or stop them from taking objectives.

When playing your lane, focus on helping your teammate who’s attacking or your allied laner get resources efficiently and quickly defeat early powerful Pokémon like Rotom. This will allow them to level up fast, defeat opposing Pokémon, and ultimately help your team score enough goals to win.

Mid and Late Game

When you reach level 5, you’ll get to choose your first special ability: either Power Whip or Whirlpool. Then, at level 7, you can add either Anchor Shot or Heavy Slam. These choices will define how you play, creating two different styles of gameplay.

  • Power Whip + Anchor Shot: This is Dhelmise’s main chase-and-catch combo. Start with Power Whip to pull enemies toward you and disrupt their movement. The moment they’re in range, follow with Anchor Shot to lock them in place. It’s perfect for punishing overextended enemies or catching anyone trying to run from lane.
  • Whirlpool + Heavy Slam: This combo focuses on damage and zone control. Use Whirlpool first to pull enemies into the center and slow them. Once they’re trapped inside the vortex, jump in with Heavy Slam for a big burst of damage. It is great for team fights, contesting objectives, and breaking enemy formations.

Choose the move that best fits how you like to play. Dhelmise’s Unite Move is great for focusing down a single enemy Pokémon, completely shutting them down and taking them out of the fight. It’s most effective when used on the enemy team’s biggest damage dealer or Pokémon that focus on attacking. Using it during big team fights later in the game can help your team secure important objectives, like taking down Groudon.

Positioning of Dhelmise

Dhelmise does best in the top or bottom lane. To level up quickly, focus on defeating Aipom and Audino. Also, try to eliminate as many Combee and Vespiqueen as you can – they provide a lot of experience and make leveling up easier.
