It seems that the excitement surrounding Eevee, one of the most beloved Normal-type Pokemon in the franchise, isn’t fading anytime soon, as the Pokemon TCG mobile app is introducing a fresh expansion focusing on this iconic character.
The latest additions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game continue to surprise players as they transition from Alolan-focused editions to a collection inspired by Prismatic Evolutions, named Eevee Grove in their most recent expansion.
It was unexpected that the new set saw such growth, given that earlier Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket editions had already introduced multiple Eevee evolution cards, except for Espeon, Sylveon, and the much-loved Umbreon.
Most anticipated cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket: Eevee Grove

From the trailers shared across multiple Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) social media platforms, it appears that the upcoming expansion will feature cards for all eight Eevee evolution forms. This includes some Fairy-type Pokémons that utilize Psychic Energy, such as Swirlix, Milcery, and Alcremie.
Additionally, within the expansion reveal, there are two Trainer cards introduced: Penny, a Supporter who can duplicate a non-Penny Supporter card from your opponent’s deck, and Eevee Bag, an Item card that allows you to decide between raising damage or healing your Eeveelution Pokémon.
Among the Eevee Grove’s Eeveelution cards, Umbreon, Espeon, and Flareon EX stand out as the most promising due to their intriguing gameplay mechanics.

In this game setup, both Umbreon and Espeon serve as effective counterparts to powerful Pokémon EX, as they can dish out substantial damage and require high Energy levels. On the other hand, Flareon EX stands out with its potent offensive arsenal, featuring the Combust ability and a 130-damage Fire Spin attack.
Eevee Grove expansion release date
The expansion of Eevee Grove for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket will debut on June 26, 2025. Just like its predecessors, these Eevee Grove cards can be obtained exclusively from one booster pack.
Due to the fact that we’ve only unveiled a few Eeveelution cards in the expansion so far, it remains uncertain if they will become common elements in existing strategy decks.
Although they possess intriguing techniques and skills, many Eeveelution variants struggle with low health points. Consequently, they’ll likely require assistance from other Pokémon and trainer cards to perform effectively during battles.
