The
Pokémon Pokopia Is Getting Rave Reviews from Critics
The Nintendo Switch era hasn’t been great for world without any humans.
The main character in Pokopia has received an average critic score of 88 on both platforms, with reviewers particularly praising the game’s enjoyable gameplay and immersive world.
The Pokémon Company Needs To Experiment More
ot every game needs to be an auteur indie puzzle masterpiece to be amazing.
It’s okay if games aren’t trying to be like Undertale or Return of the Obra Dinn. The most important thing is that they’re simply well-made. Sometimes, games rely too heavily on familiar characters without considering what fans actually want. Pokken Tournament is a good example – it featured Pokémon characters, but didn’t really explore the broader world the fans love. Similarly, some attempts to integrate Minecraft feel forced, like they just want to combine the two experiences without a clear reason. When a game successfully borrows from others, like we saw with a previous title, it’s because it thoughtfully combines the best parts of those games.
Company to look hard at what it produces next.
