Pokémon GO Fest Max Finale will debut Eternatus into the game

Get ready for Eternatus to arrive in Pokémon GO.

Niantic has officially disclosed all the particulars regarding the forthcoming Max Finale event in Pokemon GO, marking the initial appearance of Eternatus in the game.

The primary happening occurs on August 23 and 24, extending from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Interestingly, we’ve learned that there will also be a Max Finale GO Pass spanning the entire week leading up to it, coinciding with the Dark Skies event. Additionally, all previously showcased Dynamax Pokémon are set to make their return during this period.

Here’s all the details on what to expect with the debut of Eternatus in Pokémon GO.

Eternatus coming to Pokémon GO

Ever since the introduction of the Max Battle system, trainers have eagerly awaited the arrival of Eternatus in Pokémon GO. Now, on both Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, trainers will have the opportunity to challenge Eternatus during 6-star Max Battles. Additionally, all other Gigantamax Pokémon within the game will also be available for battle during these days.

As a gamer, I’ll only get one chance to meet an Enernatus in the game, specifically through the GO Pass: Max Finale. In place of multiple encounters, I’ll receive generous quantities of Enernatus Candy and Candy XL as rewards instead.

Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta return

Five-Star Raids will return with the appearance of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, who are incredibly useful in Max Battles. Completing these Raids will grant you the Crowned Energy. Furthermore, the GO Pass: Max Finale will amplify the power of Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta, enabling trainers to conquer Max Battles more swiftly and advance through the GO Pass at a faster pace.
