Get ready for all four Pokémon GO Fest 2025 events.

Niantic has publicly disclosed where the 2025 Pokémon GO Fest will take place and confirmed its scheduled dates.

During the event, we’ve uncovered details about the special Pokemon that will be highlighted as well. We’re excited to announce the comeback of Zacian and Zamazenta in their regal forms, an opportunity to encounter a new legendary Pokemon, and a variety of wild spawns.

Typically, Niantic tends to share additional details and unveil new features closer to the scheduled event date.

So, here is everything we know so far about Pokémon GO Fest 2025.

Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta to debut at Pokémon GO Fest 2025 events

At this year’s events, the featured Pokémons are the crowned versions of Zacian (Sword Crown) and Zamazenta (Shield Crown). These strong Pokémons will be showcasing their more powerful forms throughout GO Fest 2025, with appearances in Five-Star Raids.

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but notice the enhanced Pokémon that have recently popped up on the scene since they were introduced in Pokémon GO last fall. Whether they’ll come with any exclusive moves is still a mystery, but one that definitely catches my eye is the majestic Crowned Sword Zacian. This guy is shaping up to be a formidable force in Master League PvP and a fantastic Fairy-type Raid Attacker.

Volcanion also arrives at Pokémon GO Fest 2025

Every year, the GO Fest events introduce a legendary Pokémon. Last year it was Marshadow, and this year trainers will get a chance to meet Volcanion if they participate in any of the events.

To meet Volcanion, you’ll need to engage in Special Research. However, keep in mind that you’ll require an event ticket for this encounter.

If you’re intending to participate in multiple GO Fests or both online and offline events, keep in mind that you can only have one Volcanion.

Instead, you’ll receive Volcanion Candy as part of your Special Research task. Since there’s no way to find another Volcanion, this reward is quite valuable nonetheless.

All in-person GO Fest events

Osaka, Japan

Pokémon GO Fest Osaka takes place from May 29 until June 1.

Jersey City, New Jersey, USA

Pokémon GO Fest Jersey City takes place from June 6 until June 8.

Paris, France

The Pokémon GO Festival in Paris occurs from June 13 through June 15. The event takes place within Parc de Sceaux, and early bird tickets are available for €22 until April 2, with the price increasing to €27 thereafter.

Pokémon GO Fest Global 2025

After the real-life GO Fest gatherings, trainers across the globe will subsequently have an opportunity to battle against Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta. Moreover, the worldwide premiere of Volcanion is what we can expect from GO Fest 2025.

The global Pokémon GO Fest event for the year 2025 has been officially announced to take place over the weekend of June 28th and 29th. Tickets for this worldwide experience are now available for purchase, with each ticket costing a specified amount.
