Pokémon GO Fashion Week 2025

As a seasoned Pokémon GO trainer who has walked the streets of Pallet Town and beyond for years, I can confidently say that the return of Fashion Week is as exciting as ever! The event’s absence last year left a fashionable void that’s finally being filled with snazzy costumes on our beloved Pokémon.

The 2025 edition promises to be a grand affair, running from January 10 to the 19th, with a Team Rocket takeover in the second half – we’ll just have to wait and see what that entails! The bonuses this year include doubled Stardust from catching Pokémon, Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and up, and increased chances for Shiny Kirlia encounters.

The event will also introduce two brand new costumed Pokémon – Minccino and Cinccino! The costumed Minccino you encounter in the wild can even be shiny during this event.

Diglett, Skitty, Buneary, Blitzle, Furfrou, Bruxish, Kirlia, Shinx, Minccino, Butterfree, Dragonite, and even Furfrou will appear more frequently in the wild or raids! Yes, you read that right – Furfrou twice!

The event will also feature PokéStop Showcases, event-specific Field Research tasks, a paid Timed Research ticket for $5, new avatar items, and an event-themed Collection Challenge.

So, dust off those sneakers, grab your Pokeballs, and get ready to strut your stuff in style during Pokémon GO Fashion Week 2025! And remember, if you catch a Shinx wearing a fashionable costume, don’t forget to say, “You’re the cutest thing I’ve ever ElectricSeen!” (I had to throw in a joke there!)

Fashion Week has returned to Pokémon GO once more.

Once again, Fashion Week returns in Pokémon GO, having been away for a year. As always, this event showcases various stylish Pokémon dressed up in costumes, and this year’s event maintains the trend.

Here is everything you can look forward to in the 2025 edition of Fashion Week.

2025’s Fashion Week spans from Friday, January 10, starting at 10:00 a.m., up until Sunday, January 19, wrapping up at 8:00 p.m. (local time). The latter part of this event will be dominated by Team Rocket. Keep an eye on Xpsp for more information about what they have in store for us soon.

Fashion Week 2025 Event Bonuses

Fashion Week 2025 will bring the following bonuses to Pokémon GO:

2× Stardust from catching Pokémon.
2× Chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Increased chance to encounter Shiny Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume in the wild.

Furthermore, you might come across these Shiny Pokémon, which can be found as rewards for Field Research tasks and raids, with a slightly increased probability.

There will be two brand new costumed Pokémon debuting during this years Fashion Week in Pokémon GO.

The costumed Minccino you encounter in the wild can be shiny during this event.

Fashion Week 2025 Pokémon GO Wild Encounters

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the event.

Fashion Week 2025 Raids

In addition, the following Pokémon will appear in raids.

One Star Raids:

Shinx wearing a fashionable costume
Minccino wearing a fashionable costume
Furfrou

Three Star Raids:

Butterfree wearing a fashionable costume
Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume

For each of these Pokemon, it’s possible for them to appear as a shiny version. It should be noted that the chances of encountering a shiny variant are increased for all of these Pokemon, except Shinx, during event bonuses. Interestingly, Shinx has an inherently higher chance of being shiny compared to standard One Star and Three Star Raids. However, this means that the other Pokemon will have relatively lower chances of appearing as shinies compared to Shinx.
