Pokémon GO Dynamax & Gigantamax: Everything we know so far
As a seasoned Trainer with decades spent traversing various regions and battling countless Pokémon, I can hardly contain my excitement for the imminent arrival of Dynamax and Gigantamax in Pokémon GO! Ever since the mesmerizing spectacle of these colossal creatures graced our screens in Pokémon Sword and Shield, I’ve been eagerly awaiting their debut in the mobile game.
It appears that the features Dynamax and Gigantamax might be coming to Pokémon GO earlier than expected. Here’s what we currently understand.
In the upcoming season of Pokémon GO, players will get to experience Dynamax and Gigantamax, features first introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield along with the Galar Region. Since the release of that game, trainers have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of these features in the game.
Niantic has been delaying the introduction of most Pokémon from Galar into Pokémon GO, suggesting that such a feature might eventually be introduced in the game. Over time, signs of this potential addition have been surfacing in the game’s code. Dubbed “Project Bread”, it appears that this feature is highly likely to be rolled out in the game soon.
Pokémon GO now has icons for Dynamax and Gigantamax
As a dedicated player, I’ve been eagerly waiting for updates, especially after seeing some exciting additions left untouched for months – like the elusive Black and White Kyurem. Yet, recent news about an update has me buzzing with anticipation! It seems clear that the next season, kicking off September 3, will finally unveil these long-awaited features.
In your Pokémon search menu, you’ll find the symbols for Dynamax and Gigantamax. These symbols are hinted at using a question mark (‘?’) or double question marks (‘???’).
As a longtime fan of the Pokémon franchise, I have eagerly awaited the release of new features within the world of Pokémon GO. With each update, I can feel the excitement building as the game seems to be getting closer and closer to introducing Dynamax and Gigantamax. From my years of experience with Pokémon games, I know that these features will add a whole new level of strategy and excitement to the gameplay.
As a passionate Pokémon trainer, I’m excited to explore these Power Spots! They each have a formidable leader, who can only be defeated with a Dynamax Pokémon. Once you conquer this boss, your triumph allows another trainer to borrow a Dynamax Pokémon to face the same leader, making it easier for all of us!
Gigantamax Pokémon and moves
In the games Pokemon Sword and Shield, any Pokemon can Dynamax, but only a select few were capable of Gigantamax. Now, all those Gigantamax Pokemon have been incorporated into Pokemon GO. In all, 32 different species of Pokemon are able to undergo the Gigantamax transformation.
Furthermore, you’ll notice a new feature called ‘G-Moves’ in the game, which resembles Dynamax and Gigantamax as seen in Sword and Shield. Notably, Dynamax moves are common among multiple Pokémon, and they have been incorporated into the gameplay too.
As a thrilled Pokémon GO enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement as the new season is just around the corner! With tantalizing glimpses of what’s to come already being shared, I can only imagine that we’ll be receiving more intriguing details about Dynamax and Gigantamax very soon.
