Pokémon Fans Get First-Look Reveal at New 30th Anniversary Puma Release

The popular franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary with partnerships across many brands. The latest collaboration is with a leading sneaker and fashion company, releasing a special collection sure to appeal to dedicated fans.

PUMA recently announced a new collection of Pokémon merchandise, blending fashion with the popular video game franchise. The line includes clothing like shirts, jackets, and hoodies, but the highlight is the Pokémon-themed sneakers. These shoes transform beloved Pokémon characters into trendy sportswear and have been a long time coming for fans.

Pokémon Celebrates 30 Years With New PUMA Shoe Collection This April

This new PUMA collection is highlighted by its Puma Hoops sneakers, which are all inspired by different Pokémon. For example, the Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 is designed to look like Pikachu, featuring a yellow and black color scheme. These stylish and sporty shoes are meant to make you feel as fast and agile as Pikachu’s “Quick Attack.”

The PUMA x POKÉMON Inverse Mimikyu shoe is designed after the Ghost-type Pokémon, featuring a tough, tan exterior inspired by the Inverse sneaker style. The PUMA x POKÉMON Mostro Espeon, on the other hand, looks and feels like comfortable slippers, with a fuzzy pink material meant to resemble Espeon’s fur. Spikes on the sole add to the shoe’s psychic-powered design.

The PUMA x POKÉMON Fade Umbreon sneaker takes inspiration from the Pokémon itself. Its design is mostly black with yellow accents and a speckled pattern, capturing Umbreon’s dark and mysterious vibe. Each sneaker in the collection also includes a small keychain featuring the Pokémon character, and the PUMA x POKÉMON All-Pro NITRO™ 2 Pikachu lets you represent the iconic mascot.

But the shoes are only the beginning of what PUMA is releasing. The collection also includes complete tracksuits and t-shirts with the Pokémon logo. Some t-shirts feature repeating Pokémon designs, while others showcase different Pokémon like Mew.

The Fade Pikachu shoes are priced at $125, and the Pro version costs $140. Umbreon and Espeon shoes will be $125 and $130, respectively, and the Mimikyu shoes are available for $110. These shoes, along with other PUMA products, will be available in stores and online starting April 2, 2026.
