Thomas Waterzooi has unveiled a fresh, intriguing title titled “Observe the Masterpiece“, which is inspired by art and carries a casual yet thrilling vibe. This spin-off from his celebrated cozy series, “Feel the Artwork“, was presented at the 2025 Summer Game Showcase.

Get ready to experience quiet suspense while spotting changes in living paintings

In this game titled “Spot the Differences: Inspired by the Art of Edward Hopper,” set within the vibrant confines of the Museum of Animated Modern Art (MaMA), you’ll take on the role of a night guard, keeping an eye on paintings that seem to breathe life, and reporting any discrepancies or changes that occur.

Although the game doesn’t feature jump scares or traditional monsters, it still manages to create an unsettling atmosphere that may leave you feeling anxious, lonely, and even a touch of melancholy. What intrigues me are the six distinct levels, each featuring more than 40 renowned Hopper paintings categorized by theme, along with three varying difficulty options.

Similar in spirit to the popular game Five Nights at Freddy’s,

Looking forward to it! The artwork will be available for play on Android, iOS, PC, and Nintendo Switch soon. Don’t forget to add it to your wishlist on Steam. We haven’t set a release date just yet, but keep an eye out for further announcements!
