Recent reports suggest that EA Sports FC Mobile is about to get a major update. It looks like the popular ‘Player PlayStyles’ feature, already available in the console version of EA FC, will soon be added to the mobile game, which is exciting news for players.

With FC 26, a lot of new ways to play were introduced, and the developers likely wanted to bring that same experience to mobile players. Right now, mobile only has a Traits system, which isn’t the same as the more in-depth PlayStyles available on PC and console.
PlayStyles will be available for players in areas like Goalkeeping, Physicality, Defense, Passing, Ball Control, and Shooting. These styles will have varying strengths, apply to individual players, and can be added, removed, or swapped as desired.

FC Mobile and KONAMI’s eFootball 2026 both offer distinct playstyles for different player positions – forwards, midfielders, and defenders – a feature that’s been available since the game launched. This is a really useful addition because it allows for a lot of variety and strategic team building.
