As a PlayStation Plus member, I’m super excited because we’re getting a huge open-world RPG for free in the next couple of days! Sony already announced July’s Essential games – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, For The King 2, and CrossCode – which everyone says is an amazing RPG you can get just by being a member. But it doesn’t stop there; even more freebies are on the way, so I’m definitely going to have a bigger backlog now!

Most of them – seven, actually – will be available on both tiers, but two are special for Premium members only. It looks like there’s a really good mix of different types of games, so I’m pretty sure everyone will find something they love.
This July brings a great selection of new games to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, including the immersive Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. This game is likely to keep you occupied for hours! It’s available to play on PS5 through the service. The good news is that if you already have an Extra subscription, you can jump in without upgrading to Premium – it’s one of seven games accessible to both tiers.
A new role-playing game is coming to PlayStation Plus on July 21st, available for download and play worldwide. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the biggest addition to the catalog this month. It’s popular both because it’s based on the well-known Avatar movies and because it’s a very large game.
In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you play as a Na’vi character who was captured and trained by the RDA. After escaping, your return home is a significant journey where you’ll meet other Na’vi and team up with different clans to fight the RDA and protect Pandora. More games are being added regularly, and some are already available now! For instance, you can play Rise of the Ronin through the service starting July 15th. But I definitely recommend trying out the new free-to-play Avatar RPG on PlayStation Plus.
