PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are expected to be major competitors in 2026. Now that Xbox Game Pass has increased its prices, and PlayStation Plus might follow suit, the future of both services is uncertain.
Six games are leaving PlayStation Plus in the near future, according to Push Square. If you’re interested in playing them, be sure to download them quickly before they’re gone.
PlayStation Plus Is Losing These Six Games
Play Them While You Can
PlayStation Plus members should check out these games before they’re removed in April. Here’s a list of the six titles leaving the service, along with details about each one.
| PS Plus Title | Platform | Date Removed |
| EA Sports PGA Tour | PS5 | April 21, 2026 |
| Dave the Diver | PS4/PS5 | April 21, 2026 |
| Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories | PS4 | April 21, 2026 |
| Lost Records: Bloom & Rage | PS5 | April 21, 2026 |
| TowerFall Ascension | PS4 | April 21, 2026 |
| Spitlings | PS4 | April 21, 2026 |
We highly recommend checking out Dave the Diver and TowerFall Ascension. Dave the Diver is a truly excellent game that uniquely combines deep-sea exploration and restaurant management, and it’s been a favorite since it came out – especially with its recent release on more platforms. It really blends these two gameplay styles seamlessly.
TowerFall Ascension is a fantastic, yet often overlooked, arena brawler that plays a lot like Super Smash Bros., but with a focus on archery and special power-ups. It’s a blast with friends, but also offers a surprisingly enjoyable single-player experience with a little story and collectible unlocks. Another great party game is Spitlings, which supports 1-4 players and has been well-received on Steam, currently boasting positive reviews.
Looking for something a little different? Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories might be worth checking out. It came out in 2020 and, while reviews were mixed, the game offers a unique experience: navigating a city devastated by an earthquake and helping those affected. It’s a fresh idea you don’t often see in games, and you can even try it for free if you’re new to the series.
The PlayStation Plus April Lineup Will Be Announced Soon
We Have Some Leaks So Far
As of today, it looks like Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream will be the free games offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers in April. Many players are disappointed with these selections, but more games are planned for release throughout April and in the months to come.
Okay, so PlayStation Plus has been alright lately, Sony’s been trying, but honestly, the games announced for next month are kinda weak so far. They’ve still got a little time to add something awesome though, and I’m hoping they do!
