Playboi Carti Sets New Billboard Hot 100 Chart With ‘MUSIC’
I’m stoked! Seems like my fave rapper, Playboi Carti, just smashed a new record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it’s all thanks to his killer new project MUSIC. Can’t wait to check it out!
Billboard has announced that Carti has set a new record for rappers, with 31 songs appearing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in one week. This includes all 30 of his own tracks and The Weeknd’s “TIMELESS.” He surpasses Drake’s previous record of 27 entries, which was set in July 2018.
Among all artists, Carti’s latest album places him in third position, with only Morgan Wallen having released 36 tracks and Taylor Swift boasting 32 and 31 songs on her records.
