Planetarium Labs’ Immortal Rising 2 reveals Starlight Currency, taking value beyond Ascension Fight

In partnership with Beans Studio, a creative game development studio from South Korea, Planetarium Labs – a prominent Web3 developer and publisher – has unveiled plans to integrate the Starlight currency into Immortal Rising 2, an engaging play-to-earn role-playing game (RPG) with idle elements, set in the Web3 universe.

The introduction of the Starlight currency aims to bolster the $IMG token, a utility cryptocurrency on the Ethereum platform, within the Immortal Rising 2 environment. Users can exchange their Starlight currency for $IMT tokens, which are tradable on various crypto exchanges and decentralized exchanges (DEXes) like QuickSwap, Gate.io, and KuCoin. The main currencies utilized in Immortal Rising 2 are the $IMT, Starlight, and Stardust tokens.

Starlight Currency will play a massive role in Immortal Rising 2

Launching the Starlight currency marks a significant step forward in the progression path for Immortal Rising 2’s web3 game. Moreover, successful players in this intense and captivating universe will be granted Starlight currency as their achievement reward.

As a gamer, I can invest my Starlight digital assets in the fresh Star Vault system to amass more in-game riches, like boosted combat strength and health points. The duration for staking my Starlight currency ranges from seven days, two weeks, up to a month.

The team behind The Immortal Rising 2 additionally introduced the Starlight Store, an internal trading platform designed to facilitate smooth exchanges of Starlight currency for items like Stardust and other valuable in-game assets. Due to this, a player of Immortal Rising 2 can accomplish daily and weekly tasks to gain additional Starlight. Additionally, from April 23rd to May 6th, 2025, participants in Immortal Rising 2 can engage in a mini-game featuring fruit matching to collect Springday Coins, along with other unique prizes. At the moment, the game has enhanced the restrictions for dungeon and stage advancement.

Immortal Rising 2 has taken the market by storm since its release

After securing $32 million in a Series A funding round spearheaded by Animoca Brands, Planetarium Labs has experienced remarkable progress in building and expanding the Immortal Rising 2 web3 game.
