Savy Soda has revealed that they’re planning to release early access for their management and strategy MMORPG, Pixel Starships 2, this Fall on Android, iOS, and PC. As a follow-up to the well-liked original game, it will be playable as a demo during Steam Next Fest from June 9th and is now open for pre-registration on mobile devices.

In a nutshell, Pixel Starships 2 is a thrilling mix of ship management, real-time strategy, and role-playing game elements. This sequel takes the beloved aspects of Pixel Starships further by allowing you to design, enhance, and control your starship while pushing the boundaries of ship creation and offering more personalization options.

Among the aspects that have me the most thrilled is the upcoming single-player storyline. It offers the chance to traverse numerous celestial systems teeming with history, make impactful decisions that shape the cosmos’ destiny, and engage in a world where you can decide whether to ally or command a faction, participate in conflicts, or establish tactical partnerships – all at your leisure.

Take part in RTS battles or recruit and train your crew to operate the spaceship

Beyond my excitement for engaging in global real-time tactical battles with players, the primary motivation stems from enhanced matchmaking and lucrative rewards in PvP Arenas. However, it’s important to note that your vessel isn’t the sole focus; you’ll also need to assemble a talented crew, each featuring distinct traits and abilities to effectively manage the ship.

This upcoming sequel seems brimming with possibility, featuring an expansive, procedurally generated universe, a multi-galaxy strategic campaign, novel weaponry and gameplay elements, cutting-edge pixel graphics showcasing intricate 3D ships from detailed pixel art, characters to animations, alliances, and much more.
