Pink sparks concern after posting a picture attached to an IV drip following shock diagnosis

Concern has been raised after Pink shared a photo of herself connected to an intravenous drip, following a surprising health revelation.

In my account, at the age of 45, I – the singer – posted a photo of me unwinding on my couch, holding a wine glass in one hand, with an intravenous drip attached to me. My 14-year-old daughter, Willow, was tenderly taking care of me in that moment.

During her vacation, the star, known as Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, had an unexpected interruption due to E. coli infection.

Healthy individuals and animals typically harbor Escherichia coli (often abbreviated as E. coli), a type of bacteria, within their digestive system or intestines.

Generally, the bacteria residing within your digestive system tend not to harm you; instead, they aid in breaking down your food. However, some strains of E. coli may cause illness under specific conditions, as noted by Cleveland Clinic.

She penned in her Instagram picture: ‘This is all normal and everything is going really well.

When you’re on holiday, if you accidentally consume food contaminated with E. coli bacteria, you can help eliminate it by spending time with loved ones (friends and daughters), consuming red wine, and receiving a vitamin-infused intravenous solution.

She titled her post, ‘Ah, life, lemons, lemonade, and cherished memories – some I’ll surely recall.’

Her supporters expressed their worry, writing in a message that conveyed affection and the wish for her swift recovery: ‘Sending you lots of love and hoping you get well soon.’

‘Feel better soon!’,

‘Hope you feel better soon and are still able to enjoy the rest of your trip!!’,

I’m really sorry to hear that. At least you have positive energy, great company, and delicious wine to aid in your healing process.

‘Wishing you a speedy recovery.’

A recent photo from last month shows Pink and her teenage daughter, Willow, looking strikingly alike during their joint appearance at the 10th anniversary celebration of Hamilton in New York City.

At The Richard Rogers Theatre on Broadway, the performer known for “Raise Your Glass” – who’s married to motorcycle racer Carey Hart – was accompanied by her child during the celebration events.

In 2006, the artist got married to Carey, and together they subsequently had a daughter named Willow, along with a son named Jameson, who is now eight years old.

In this scenario, the teenager perfectly embodied her renowned mother’s style as she donned a stylish, strapless red gown, while Jameson suited up appropriately for the event in a sleek black suit.

In a similar vein to her mother, Willow has pursued a career in music. Not only has she shared the stage with a Grammy-winning artist, but she is also an avid admirer of Broadway productions.

Last year, in an interview with People, the woman behind “Who Knew” revealed about her oldest child, “She’s got quite a voice for someone so young. She’s like a tiny songbird. Her dreams are set on pursuing a career in Broadway and then becoming a trauma surgeon.

Pink also revealed to the outlet at the time that the pair were ‘learning a new song together.’

The star commented, ‘She hasn’t fully committed as of now. She has a deep passion for musical theatre. I’m encouraging her to explore new horizons a bit more.’

Approximately a year ago, both Pink and Willow delivered their lyrics harmoniously during the final day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

The up-and-coming vocalist has been emulating her mother’s stage career, and she notably performed a rendition of “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman: Reimagined back in 2018.

In the year 2021, a couple of years after, Pink teamed up with her daughter for a duet titled “Cover Me In Sunshine”. This track made its way onto multiple international charts, peaking at the sixth position on the Australian (ARIA) chart.

During her Summer Carnival Tour in Australia last February, Willow performed alongside her mother, and they particularly sang “Cover Me In Sunshine” as a duo.

In 2023, Pink happily posted a video on social media featuring her then-11-year-old child delivering a captivating rendition of an Olivia Rodrigo song during their debut performance at a recital.
