As a dedicated fan of Pink, I have always admired her unwavering commitment to her craft and her ability to push through challenges with unyielding determination. Her recent announcement of canceling a concert due to an unspecified health issue is disappointing, but it serves as a reminder of the demanding nature of being a performer.
On Tuesday, Pink revealed that she had to cancel her concert scheduled for Wednesday in Switzerland due to an undisclosed health issue.
She expressed her apologies on social media for having to cancel her Bern show on Wednesday. Despite her best efforts to keep performing each night, she was sadly informed by her doctor that she couldn’t go on due to unavoidable reasons.
As a movie enthusiast, I was truly thrilled about the prospect of creating unforgettable moments with all of you at Pink’s event. However, I am deeply disappointed to share that the show has been called off. Fret not, as ticket holders, you will be refunded in full.
The concert in Copenhagen this coming Saturday may still be subject to change, as the singer has expressed her eagerness to reunite with her fans soon.
Pink’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.
In June, during the beginning of her tour in Wales, Pink disclosed that she was continuing with her performances despite having stomach bug symptoms.
“A little food poisoning can’t stop us,” she wrote in the caption.
As a seasoned concert-goer and music aficionado, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with fellow fans! Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour, which kicked off in support of her latest album “Trustfall,” is set to carry on well into the fall. Having attended several of her previous concerts, I can attest to the energy and excitement that Pink brings to every performance.
During concerts last October, Pink shared with Mikael Wood of The Times that the live stage is where she feels most at home.
She explained, “We prepare to a certain degree for safety’s sake. Yet, the unexpected can still occur. And when I’m onstage, I’m fully present – heart and body. There’s no other space where I function – be it as a Virgo, a mother, or the most responsible person I am – like onstage. It’s my home.”
