Despite recent rumors about a possible separation, Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, enjoyed a weekend with their two children.
The 46-year-old singer posted a family picture on Instagram on Saturday, featuring her husband, 50, and their two children, 14-year-old Willow and 9-year-old Jameson.
The parents took their children to see the Broadway show & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
I was so excited to see the cast backstage! There were four of them, all beaming, and I learned the play actually includes Pink’s amazing song, ‘Fkin’ Perfect’ from 2010. It made the whole experience even more special!
People magazine said in February that Pink and Hart had split up, but Pink quickly denied the report in a video posted to Instagram.
She posted a message saying that people shouldn’t believe rumors unless she confirms them herself. She also hinted that something exciting might be coming soon!
In a recorded statement, the mother of two revealed she had just learned about her separation from her husband, thanking People and Us Weekly magazines for bringing it to her attention.
Thanks for the update. I was thinking, would you be willing to share this news with the kids too? They’re 14 and 9, and haven’t heard yet.
The couple married in Costa Rica in January 2006.
The pop star reunited with Kandi Burruss, 49, who completed her run in the show over the weekend.
It felt like everything came together beautifully when Buruss sang “Fkin’ Perfect” while playing the character Angélique.
Kandi Burruss, who previously appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, helped write Pink’s first hit song, ‘There You Go,’ which came out in 2000.
Buruss shared a video on Instagram with Pink, saying, ‘It meant so much to me that you came to see me tonight—you’re one of my favorites!’
She then said, ‘We gotta write. We gotta write some more stuff.’
She also shared a heartfelt message, saying, ‘I want to give a lot of love to my friend Pink. She was there for me, and she brought her entire family with her.’
Pink recently guest-hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show, and her daughter made a special appearance, joining her for a performance of ‘Hopeless War’ from the Broadway hit, The Outsiders.
The singer explained her family’s recent move to New York City, saying she wanted to be the best mom she could be and give her daughter, Willow, the chance to pursue theater and enjoy Broadway shows.
Her husband paid tribute to her in an Instagram post last September, writing, ‘Happy b day mama!
‘Very proud of the woman you have grown into over the last 24 years I have known you.’
He spoke of her with great admiration, calling her a wonderful mother, performer, wife, friend, and businesswoman, as well as a generous philanthropist and inspiring role model – truly an exceptional person.
Last July, she posted a heartfelt birthday message to her husband, along with photos of a sweet gift she’d created: a list of fifty things she loves about him.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Happy birthday @hartluck just thought the world needed 50 more reasons.’
The qualities included being kind to strangers, consistently being there for your kids, and remaining loyal to others.
