Story: Piglet, or Butler as he’s known, finds himself in a situation when Kate (Desmond), with some hesitation, decides to accompany her sister’s friends for their 21st birthday celebration at a secluded cabin nestled deep within the woods. As the evening unfolds and the drinks start flowing, Piglet, the elusive predator he is, manages to break free from confinement and sets his sights on selecting new targets.
As the murderer locates the gathering, he starts eliminating the women, one at a time. It’s crucial that they grasp the nature of their adversary and ready themselves for a battle before it’s all over.
Verdict on Piglet
Recap
The film traces the journey of a band of companions who arrange for a festive getaway. Yet, they uncover that a masked assassin lurks within the forest, poised to eliminate them one by one. Consequently, it turns into a struggle for their lives against the killer and his craftsman.
Best Parts
In terms of slasher films, one would anticipate scenes filled with gruesome, brutal violence. This movie certainly delivers on that aspect without any restraint. Interestingly, it shares a connection with the Winnie-the-Pooh universe (though not directly linked), which has been making waves in the slasher genre lately.
Worst Parts
The story adheres to conventional horror themes, such as character separation and the archetypal “final girl” who is less tainted. However, the script doesn’t delve deeply into the personalities or backgrounds of our primary characters.
Final Thoughts –Piglet is a typical late-night slasher.
